They need a better graphic designer. The sign they made is very hard to read. 😅
Beside that, I think it was a stunt for their own youtube channel or social media page: Saint Peter Square is a bit like the park in front of the White House. Every day you can find somebody with a protest sign but I doubt the Pope (or the president) will see and/or care about those banners, especially when there are so few people involved in the rally.

Yes, but why did he want to chop the tree down? A ceremonial tree planting to commemorate an event is something mayors or celebrities do from time to time, without arousing any feelings of hostility. What was it about this one that Tschugguel saw as a provocation? Was the tree yet another pagan symbol of some kind?

Well, to get back on topic, then. Baron Tschugguel is asking a Jesuit to clarify an ambiguous statement he made. Good luck with that, as Pascal might have said, and probably did.

He should be asking the movie producer to clarify and post an unedited version. He has the wrong target.

Yes, and the translator who did the subtitles, too. In Argentina, “convivencia” and “unión civil” are legal terms having clearly distinct meanings.

Who is he to call on the pope to do anything? Know your place.
 
The pope answers to God, not us. To demand anything of the Vicar of Christ screams hubris and pride.

Every Catholic should be looking to defend the Pope first. Every Catholic should be asking ‘whats the agenda here, who are the vested interests’
Every Catholic has the right to ask that movie producer to release an unedited unmashed up version, and should be doing that instead of what some are now doing in trusting this deceitful movie producer rather then the Pope.
Every single Catholic should be saying we are not that naive to believe our Pope would endorse single people having sex , nor same sex marriage.

Every single Catholic should be doing that first.

No, the pope answers to God. For all he does and says. The pope does not owe us anything.
 
I didn’t say submit. I didn’t even say agree. The pope is Gods representative on earth though, and it is not our place to question or speak I’ll of someone in a position of authority so far above us. Focus on your parish priest and bishop as they are the ones closest to you.
