Between Brock Turner and Brett Kavanaugh, when do girls matter?

By 17 pretty much all normal humans understand right from wrong, can make informed moral and ethical judgments. I knew right from wrong when I was 17. And so did those who I hung around with. I knew a girl who had been sexually assaulted by some teenagers and I don’t recall anyone in my peer group going “well it’s okay, 'cause we’re teenagers.”

As I said before, if you wish to question the veracity of the claim, I am sympathetic. I’m on the fence. I don’t think Kavanaugh is a bad man, nor do I particularly like the timing of the revelations, true or not. And that should be the defense, not this frankly disgusting attempt to defend the alleged actions as if all teenage boys are sex fiends that eventually grow out of it.

Right and wrong goes out the window when there is drinking involved

Parents educate their kids as to the dangers and resposibilities they will face in the world.
There are scuzzballs in the world but not all boys are scuzzballs.
Women are aware of what is out there but the number of people on a Catholic site saying boys will be boys is disturbing.

What on earth does this story of voluntary sexual activity have to do with the case of Turner of the allegations against Kavanaugh which are cases of sexual assault?
The assumption that this really was a sexual assault.

Not directed at you but at the number of times I have seen that in these topics.

The allegation is one of sexual assault.
Your story is one of consensual sexual activity.
The difference should go without saying.
There is no more reason to believe Ford’s experience was assault than to believe the one I mentioned was. Nor is there greater reason to believe either woman was traumatized.

Actually, i think they have debated whether or not doing this in high school (which was not attempted rape) warrants disqualifying someone from federal service.

I do not think it does, depending on the crime.
That said, I think Ford is a pawn being used to attack Kavanaugh. She cant remember anything but knows it was him? Get out of here you fraud.
