"Bible Christian" Who does this better fit: Protestants or Catholics?

Yes, that makes sense. CCD is presented like a forced thing, at least around my area. Kids are not happy to go. Now my Protestant friends who have kids in Sunday School seem to like it. I asked them why and they said it’s fun and they learn about their brother, Jesus.
Is it just the spin that Catholics have on things that turns people off or what?

Unfortunately, sometimes it is the way it is presented. Not every Protestant kid enjoys going to Sunday school (I can name a few I know right now), but they go because their parents make them.

Do you not know Scripture existed even while the apostles journeyed to spread the the Gospel. There are at least two or three areas in the NT where the authors referred to other authors writings as scripture and they were quoting NT.

If I remember my Bible history correctly, Matthew was the first book that was written and Mark and Luke based their writings on Matthew, adding/detracting/emphasizing elements according tho their audience. But even then, Matthew wasn’t until well after Jesus death.
Paul refers to teachings, but he is mostly concerned with the actions of the Churches, rebuking and congratulating accordingly.

Where did you hear that? I know that they read the Bible the same reason why Catholics do: to learn more about Christ and how to follow His teachings.

If they followed his teachings, that would include not rejecting His plan for protecting truth and the prime minister He left on Earth for us.

No and one doesn’t need to be perfectly familiar with the bible in its entirety, its a way for God to communicate with his people its a media. We desire to be perfectly familiar with God through his word not the other way around.
