Exodus 32:19 It came about, as soon as Moses came near the camp, that he saw the calf and the dancing; and Moses’ anger burned, and he threw the tablets from his hands and shattered them at the foot of the mountain.
This reminds me of a silly scene from a movie I saw long ago. Moses comes down from the mountain, and he starts to hold up the tablets and says, “The Fifteen…” but then one tablet slips from his hands and breaks, so he continues, “The Ten…Ten Commandments!” I always laugh when I remember this scene.

Not quite. That event is before the one before Exodus 32, the Golden Calf incident; exactly, Exodus 31.
Clue number 2. If you’d ever watch the Ten Commandments, this is the part where God comes in the form of a Pillar of Fire and starts to strike the mountainface with fire.

Yes, I recognize that photo. That is the movie I had in mind. I’m not ready to answer the other pictures…I’m up in the middle of the night right now because I can’t sleep. I’m supposed to be trying to not think so I can get back to sleep.

You have the great sea in the picture, and it is interesting to see the horns on the last beast. I’ve always had trouble picturing such a thing. I think the row of horns is cute, like a row of candles. (Can a beast be cute?)

No, the movie just shows God striking down the mountainface with fire, then after that, cuts down the tablets to their shape. For a nice trivia, Rabbinic tradition believes the Tablets of the Law to be actually in the shape of a perfect cube with sharp corners (instead of rectangles with round tops as they are commonly depicted).
Plus, the words were not engraved; they were bored fully through the stone. You would expect the reverse side to be a mirror image, but both sides actually appeared normally.
Since the letters were bored fully through the stone, the inner part of the letters were not supported by anything (Let’s say for example, the letter Ayin, which in Paleo-Hebrew looks like an O)
yet the unsupported parts remained in position.
Now, for those answers…You’re correct!!! You win the replica of the Tablets of the Law!!!

The floating pieces of letters sounds cool, and boy would giant cubes be hard to carry around in the ark, unless the tablets floated a bit, too.
This reminds me of the New Jerusalem. It is also a cube, as you can see by the underlining.Hey, maybe we are all destined to be borg. (star trek joke).

However, when he saw the people worshipping the Golden Calf, either God withdrew His support or the letters flew to Heaven, causing Moses to feel the weight of the Tablets, thus dropping it. Others, however had God and Moses struggling for the Tablets, with Moses trying to keep it from falling. Still others believed Moses did not break them until God encouraged Him to do so. There are some who held the opposite, saying God was angry that Moses broke them. He then ordered him to climb up and make another set which was given on the afternoon of Yom Kippur.
The second set was said to be made out of a block of sapphire from Moses’ tent; he was said to have become rich selling the chips left over from making the second set. Though hard, they were also flexible.
The tablets were said to be 6 handbreadths in length.
These are just Midrashim and may be just pious tales.

I’ll start with #1 - This is a picture of Rev 5 verse 6: Then I saw standing in the midst of the throne and the four living creatures and the elders, a Lamb that seemed to have been slain. He had seven horns and seven eyes; these are the (seven) spirits of God sent out into the whole world.
I know most of these by sight, but don’t know the exact passages. The first one was pretty easy though.
I’ll see if anyone else wants to attempt the others before I continue.

Picture 4: Rev 12 1-5
A great sign appeared in the sky, a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a crown of twelve stars.
She was with child and wailed aloud in pain as she labored to give birth.
Then another sign appeared in the sky; it was a huge red dragon, with seven heads and ten horns, and on its heads were seven diadems.
Its tail swept away a third of the stars in the sky and hurled them down to the earth. Then the dragon stood before the woman about to give birth, to devour her child when she gave birth.
She gave birth to a son, a male child, destined to rule all the nations with an iron rod. Her child was caught up to God and his throne.

So the soldiers came and broke the legs of the first and then of the other one who was crucified with Jesus.
Bad enough to be crucified, but then to have your legs broken to speed things up, ouch!!
Picture 6: Same chapter John 19 40-42
They took the body of Jesus and bound it with burial cloths along with the spices, according to the Jewish burial custom.
Now in the place where he had been crucified there was a garden, and in the garden a new tomb, in which no one had yet been buried.
So they laid Jesus there because of the Jewish preparation day; for the tomb was close by.
I chose John’s gospel for expediency, but it of course appears in the others.
