Ticket sellers for Bill and Hillary Clinton’s speaking tour have been having a hard time even giving tickets away for the couple’s events, according to reports.​

As the Clintons were set to appear at Seattle’s WaMu Theater on Friday, for instance, ticket prices plunged with the top seats slashed over 50 percent from suggested pricing.

Premium seats that were initially sold for $1,785 apiece were slashed to $829 . . .

. . . Tickets were originally priced between $55.50 and $519, but in some cases, prices were dropped by secondary sellers all the way down to $10 and $20 to fill seats… . .

. . . The tour was set to appear in cities such as Las Vegas; Sugar Land, Texas; New York City; Detroit; Philadelphia; Wallingford, Connecticut; Washington, D.C.; Boston; Seattle; and Los Angeles. Plans to visit some Canadian cities were included as well.

But in no case did the events sell out, and in some cities, large numbers of tickets remained unsold. Prices for the Los Angeles stop, for instance, plummeted to as low as six dollars a seat and still the event was not a sellout.

Just musing here.

The Democrats proverbial BULLpen was so empty that I wonder if they were (or some ARE) planning on proverbially parachuting in Hillary into the campaign at the last minute??

If they are, this does not bode well for THAT plan (except it helps keep Hillary under the radar while giving the Clintons, and some of their organizers, “lunch money”.)

No I think HRC is past her ‘use date’ and that is why they can’t sell out a small venue in very liberal Seattle. Biden has issues, but he doesn’t carry Hillary’s baggage.

I think you are correct here.

But a quick question.

Didn’t she have the SAME problem (small audiences, difficulty filling venues, etc.) when she was a declared candidate? At least early on?

I recall fake news using wide camera lens photos up close (to fool you on her inability to fill a venue presumably), but people at the SAME event posting many-empty-seat-photos in the back of the same venues on social media (that the fake news industrual complex would NOT show) and making its way into alternative media (that I saw).

Do you have a source that confirms her smaller events were usually packed. As you noted, prooftexted photos can tell whatever story you want them to, so I’m looking for numbers.

Inflation is moderate, but it does hit people on fixed incomes the most.

This economy is heaven sent for the working poor though, they are either getting raises or can look for a better job or more hours.

(I think you mean back in the 2016 race that her events were LACKING people. Were NOT packed. Right??)
