I ask because I don’t think it’s fair for a women who can pay for an ultrasound to be allowed to have an abortion (if she chooses) and the woman who can’t afford it be told that she can’t have one. This kind of “set up” only affect poor women. That’s not right and it won’t pass.

Why should someone exercising what our Supreme Court has decided is their Constitutional Rights be forced to undergo an unnecessary procedure and then have to pay for it?
The states has all sorts requirements for medical clinics and medical procedures. The law has been upheld in other states-why are those who profess to be pro-choice so afraid that it be an informed choice?

The idea is that seeing the truth about their babies’ existence will cause many mothers to be life givers instead of life takers. Additionally, the ultrasounds can help real doctors to chart the best path of real health care for both their patients until the babies are born.

Sure it is. It’s unnecessary for the procedure that is going to follow. It’s not like I have to get an ultrasound to get a cavity filled. The medical profession has established that it is not medically necessary to have an ultrasound before having an abortion, so if the state requires that additional procedure, they must pay for it.

No court is held so. Perhaps those who are so adamant about women being allowed to kill their children should chip in cover the cost of the ultrasounds
But before you get a cavity filled, you have to have a check up, you might end up having procedures done that don’t directly affect the Dentist knowing you have a cavity.
