You know it’s funny about how tonight’s readings touched on how people would rather block or ignore good news. If they do then let them go then maybe one day they change their minds.
I don’t think I’d agree that people don’t change. They just typically don’t change on a dime. It’s often a slow process that takes years. Sometimes they don’t even realize they’re changing.The reality is (from my experience) that the vast majority of people (90%+) are wherever they may be in their Christianity, and will not change (any significant degree) to their last day.
