It is pretty clear that we both believe that Mormons are not Christians. They are not Trinitarian or even monotheistic, but theology was not on the ballot. Only one candidate has tried to force Catholics and other Chistians to act against their faith. It was the Obama administration that tried in both HHS and the EEOC to define for a religious institution who their ministers were, and argued before the Supreme Court that churches should be treated the same as anyone else. They acted like the first amendment to the Constitution never existed. Obama was the anti-Christian candidate, even if he claims allegiance to some form of Christianity.
**PSSST. You can stop lambasting Mormons now. Romney lost.
**

Religious discrimination is alive and well.

I am not lambasting Mormons. I just stated the facts. Jews, Hindus, Muslims, Animists, Budhists, and atheists are also not Christians. They are all entitled to the same civil and human rights as anyone else.

If we were voting about religion, then why did no one bring up Obama’s wacko pastor with his crazy black-liberation-theology stuff?

It’s clear that it had nothing to do with his religion. The left just takes whatever it finds and attacks with it.

If he were baptist, he would have been attacked for the extreme-ness of his views, and for every other thing he ever did in his life.
If he were Catholic, he would have been attacked for it, and for every other thing he ever did in his life.
If he was agnostic, he would have been attacked for the utter hypocracy of it, and for every other thing he ever did in his life.

It had nothing to do with his religion. He was attacked because he is conservative, and stood for the truth. That’s all.

Fine. But the election is over. I’m sick of listening to people lambaste Mormons. Religious prejudice is an ugly thing.

Like he said, he didn’t do anything wrong. He didn’t lambast them, and he isn’t displaying a predjudice. He stated the fact that they aren’t Christians.

My bedroom wall is not white.

That’s not lambasting my wall. That’s stating a fact.

Did you miss the previous election, when he was all many, many people could speak of? This year of course, suddenly everyone gave “wacko” teachings a wide berth in the name of respecting religion.

yes, Glenn beck and Rush were talking about it, but it almost never made it to any mainstream news on CNN or MSNBC

Might want to ask yourself about the classes given in the Catholic Church on the Rhythm System which determines ovulation times so women can have the pleasure without having the baby. Call it want you want…it is still birth control. fyi
That is not a contraceptive act. The difference is profound.
