Or a sign that whoever is doing this doesn’t know how to make bombs.
It’s really not that hard. The information is widely available and anyone with half a brain could do it. If the person is that incompetent then they truly aren’t competent. That would matter at any trial.

No postage cancelation. If these were real devices the only photos that would exist are from demolitions drones. What are we up to? 8 packages delivered to different locations throughout the country at the same time. 14 days before midterms and a marching horde moving towards the border. Photos, videos, 24 hour coverage for the next 2 weeks? This is a sweet operation, I have to give them credit for that. Whoever pulled this off, did it, and not one detonation, nit one target injured, or killed. Everything about this smacks of giving the Dems a bump in numbers.

Well I don’t think the Honduran army is going to help Democrats. Public polling sides with trump on immigration for the most part. The ridiculous nature of that situation and the hubris that we must believe that they organically all just coincidentally showed up and we must accept them is tailor made to help republicans.

Here is what I suspect. If they catch the person, he will have been a crazy anti-progressive lunatic.

If we don’t find his identity, which would be highly improbable, then the bombs were sent by a progressive intending to bolster support for them.

We shall see.

If it were as easy as following steps, bombs wouldn’t detonate prematurely or not at all, yet we have cases outside of this where either scenario occurred. If anything, the fact that every bomb failed to detonate would imply that there was a consistent design flaw.

I think I’m more concerned by the fact some are instantly trying to raise suspicion of this being a leftist conspiracy. I would say that it’s this kind of constant paranoia that makes segments of the right the joke that they are, but jokes have to be funny. This is just sad and horrifying.

I think it just shows you what many think of some on the American left today. Those same people didn’t think that 20+years ago. What happened to the Democratic party?

These kinds of bombs if anything go off when not intended too. That none went off is very strange. I agree there is a consistent flaw to the whole thing.

Quite the conspiracy. The New York City Police Department Bomb Squad, the FBI, the ATF, and the Secret Service are all apparently part of the conspiracy, right?

Until they ID the perpetrator, we cant really say. If the nail someone, I’ll believe them. If they dont, I’ll be skeptical.

Granted, how people view the left is more telling of their own problems than those of the left.

And all the resources around the country mobilized for this? Funny how illiterate militants in Iraq and Afghanistan are more competent in executing the building, placing and maximum yield with crude IEDs than these devices.

Your post is example of why the country will never be United again. Some posters, likely exemplars of regular Americans, will never agree or come to a common view of each other.

You think it is an problem with those of my ilk. I think it is a problem with those of your ilk.

Now I am fine being reviled by the people I meet in real life who i don’t have a lot of respect for, but admittedly that isnt healthy.

The expertise, or lack thereof, of Iraqi militants in constructing explosive devices is hardly evidence that this string of (attempted) bombings in the United States is some kind of false flag operation.

Let me ask you a question – do you think the Sandy Hook shooting was a “false flag” operation?

No. Happy?

Probably not…that blue wave isn’t even a trickle now. I wouldn’t be happy either if I was waiting to 'Peach 45.

Far from it. If you did believe Sandy Hook was a “false flag,” I could dismiss the promotion of the “false flag” idea on your part, and the part of others, as simply the ramblings of cranks. Unfortunately, that doesn’t seem to be the case. It seems more likely it’s a desperate attempt to use this frightening occurrence to discredit one’s political opponents, and to eradicate trust in law enforcement.

What does that have to do with anything?

I don’t know what this means.

I think it is less viewing the other as having a problem and more constantly assuming the worst about the other. People can be cordial about disagreement. It’s a lot harder when you always think ill of the other.

We’re using 4chan as evidence now?

And “weaponized autism”?

I have to say that it’s extremely funny that the correlation between people who are suddenly explosives experts talking about how easy making bombs is and people suspecting this is a “false flag” operation is basically 1.0.

When I was a boy, aside from building models, and train set, and computers. I would often spend days, sometimes weeks setting up dominos in elaborate patterns just to knock them down by being the prime mover and tipping the first one. Kind of like God and the universe.

I use to have a lucrative career doing system threat assessments and make recommendations for countermeasures.

So in answer to your last question…one thing leads into another.
