Read the article regarding 5 reasons Davis might win. In short…well if pigs fly then it might happen. The writer looks wistfully into the past where the Republican candidates made dreadful mistakes (during the time Texas had a substantial number of Democrats…does Lyndon Johnson ring a bell here?) and the Dem was able to squeak out a shallow victory (only to be defeated when running for re-election).

The sad thing is that the loony Left fled states like California because of its Leftist policies greatly increased the cost of living and decreased opportunity. Instead of LEARNING they want to import that same nutty policies that have California circling the financial drain along with her evil twins Detroit and Chicago. Where the Left reigns there is misery. I wish they’s just stay put and stew in their noxious philosophical juices.

In all, Davis has raised less than $700 from the four largest cities in the Rio Grande Valley, about $1,000 in Laredo and right at $2,700 from 64 individual contributions in Corpus Christi, an analysis of her campaign contributions shows. Pretty much, unless she makes a whole lot of points with texans, she isn’t going to win this.
