Friends,
I am feeling very heartbroken and worn-down physically due to many physical and emotional sufferings. If you could please lift me up in prayer, I’m sure Our Lord will hear you and help me carry this burdensome cross. I thank you all from the bottom of my heart. Always praying for everyone at CAF…
:signofcross: Hail Mary…

Pete,
You’re too funny…NOT! ha ha ha. How is that roadkill? Prayers still coming your way and for all deceased animals.😦

Mom, I’m happy to see that with all you’ve been through, your funny bone is most definitely in tact and quite healthy!

I hope today finds you feeling better, and that things are improving. As you read through the beautiful words written for you on this thread, know my dear friend, that they are a reflection of the wonderful person God created when he brought you into this world. Our lives are richer for having met you, here on this thread, or in your community. May God Bless you in abundance!

Diana,
Once again, I thank you for your kindness. God has certainly blessed you with a loving heart. I’m afraid my sense (or non-sense) of humor is still intact - albeit it’s a bit whacky. But - at least I have some entertainment in my life! ha ha. Praying for your intentions in my rosary tonite, dear, dear friend! Much love…

Dear Mom4Truth,

I wanted you to know you have prayers coming your way from Tokyo this morning! I will write you more tonight but please know you will be in my prayers throughout today.

Hugs,

Maria1212

Hi Maria!🙂
I have missed seeing your posts! Thank you so much for your prayers. I am reciprocating. Prayers coming from U.S.! You’re in my rosary, also. Much love…

mom4truth, it just struck me that the title of your thread is exactly what Christ would have written to His Father at two points in His earthly life: while fasting in the desert, and while hanging on the cross. You are living Lent to the fullest. Your suffering and weariness are noted, sorrow by sorrow, in the Lord’s book. Your continual life of prayer in the midst of trial and suffering, emulates that of many Saints. Sure, we lionize saints with biographies, medals and devotions, but never have we had the opportunity to correspond with one during her life. Your steadfastness in the faith recalls Mother Theresa’s spiritual dryness. Through it all, she kept the faith and persevered. And, as you struggle on, so shall we, both in prayer, and in solidarity.

As was Christ, you will also be restored.

Po,
I think many people have had the dark night of the soul but perhaps have not realized it nor called it that. Certainly, it is a difficult time. Being in the desert is a sad and lonely place. Somehow, though, we all come out of it (God does the work with our cooperation). The only thing I know to do when all else fails, when people fail me: friends, family, etc., is pray like no tomorrow. If I can’t verbally prayer out loud, I believe my soul prays on its own because it knows that only God can help it. At that point, I become very still in my mind; almost blank. But I go through the motions of life as best I can; meanwhile, my heart/soul is at work trying to regain graces and strength. That’s about all I know. I’m a simple woman. I just want to get to heaven some day. Thank you for your post and prayers. You are most certainly in my rosaries! God bless, dear friend!

Pete,
You DID NOT offend me, I repeat, you DID NOT offend me. I thought it was funny and was trying to make a joke. Kinda hard to do over the internet. I’m sorry…😦

It isn’t the first time I misinterpreted something. Guess I should have paid more attention in school. 😃

Remember us, blessed Germaine, your brothers and sisters who labor and suffer in this difficult world.

Know that we place our hope in you, ask for your help in our need, and for consolation in our suffering.

Hear us as we ask you to be with us in our time of trial.
You experienced much pain, isolation, humiliation, and suffering.
Now from your place of glory please look with kindness upon our sorrows.
In your happiness, remember our tears.

Form us in the way of your humility, your patience, your faith, and your charity.
And then, at the hour of our death, welcome us to our eternal home. Amen
