Dear Mom4Truth,

You are in my thoughts and prayers today. I have been thinking about you and hope your test goes well and that you feel as calm as possible during it. Regardless of the outcome, our Lord will get you through it. That being said, I am praying for a cure!!

Hugs,

From today’s Liturgy of the Hours:

Psalm 19 (20)
Prayer for victory

The Lord will grant victory to his Anointed One.

May the Lord hear your prayer in the day of tribulation,
may the name of the God of Jacob protect you.
May he send you help from his holy place;
from Zion, may he extend his protection.

May he remember every one of your sacrifices
and find merit in your burnt-offerings.
May he deal with you as your heart desires
and bring all your plans to fulfilment.

We will rejoice in your salvation,
we will raise our banners in the name of God;
may the Lord grant all your prayers.

Now I know that the Lord keeps his anointed one safe:
in his sanctuary in heaven he hears his prayer,
and lends the support of his strong right hand.

Some put their faith in chariots
and some in horses,
but we invoked the name of the Lord our God.
They stumbled and fell,
but we rose and we stand upright.

Lord, keep the king safe,
and hear our prayer whenever we call upon you.

Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit,
as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be,
world without end.
Amen.

The Lord will grant victory to his Anointed One.

Thank you all for your prayers. My parents accompanied to the test. They gave me the solid test instead - 4 hrs. long. It was a long day, and I’m tired. I believe they may have some sort of results tomorrow. So - that being said - I pray for a good outcome.

I have become very depressed 😦 . I have mentioned before that I have gone through a dark period as this another time. It was awful. I don’t want to do this. I don’t want to be in this dark place when I am needed by my kids. I think much of it has to do with DH who is uninterested in our relationship. I am sad.

You are all in my prayers, of course.
:
May our Lord bless you and remember you for all your kindnesses and prayers you have bestowed upon me.

mom4truth - praying that God fill you with His love…:signofcross:
And praying for your whole family

Lord Jesus Christ, please support Mom4Truth in her pain and weakness and comfort her in her affliction, and let her rest her weariness and pain in your loving heart. Relieve her and refresh her so that she may bear her suffering for your sake. You who comforted the martyrs in their torture and gave them courage, renew your comfort in Mom4Truth. Defend her against all temptations and keep the enemy from taking advantage of her in her illness. Above all, give her strength to bear whatever you have chosen for her.

Mom4Truth, you will be in my prayers as I pray the rosary tonight.

Love,

Maria1212

Dear Mom4Truth,

I thought you might find this prayer helpful. It is called “To the Angle Who Strengthened Our Lord in the Garden of Olives.”

I salute you, holy Angel, who comforted my Lord in his agony–the one who is the comfort and strength of all the afflicted. You are honored for the humility, and love with which you assisted Jesus when he was fainting in sorrow at seeing the sins of the world and especially mine. I ask you to obtain for me perfect sorrow for my sins and strengthen me in my own afflictions which now threaten to overwhelm me. Comfort me as well in all other trials to which I shall be exposed in the future, and in particular, when I find myself in my own final agony. Amen.

Sincerely,

Maria1212

Maria,

Thank you for that beautiful prayer. I have never seen it before. I treasure all the beautiful things you say to me.

Dear Mom4Truth,

Here is another prayer I find helpful.

My God, I do not know what may happen to me this day; but of one thing I am certain: that nothing will happen but what you have foreseen and ordered from all eternity. I submit myself to your eternal plan and accept it with a willing heart. I unite myself to the sacrifices of Jesus Christ, my Savior, in his name, and through his merits, I ask of your patience in all my trials and disappointments, and a total submission to all that will happen to me according to your divine plan. Amen.

Hugs,

Maria1212

Dear Mom4Truth,

Here is a simple prayer by an Irish monk named Dimma.

O God, you care for your creation with great tenderness. In the midst of overwhelming pain, you offer hope. Give help to me, whose spirit seems to be lost and whose soul is in despair. Let me feel your love. Let me believe in a rebirth of joy so that I can experience now a small taste of the happiness I wish to know in eternity. Amen.

I will keep praying for you Mom4Truth.

Love,

Maria1212

Hail Mary,
Full of Grace,
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the Fruit of Thy Womb,
Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of our death.
Amen

St Monica, please pray for Judi.
Amen

I have been praying for you Mom4Truth. And I will keep the prayers coming. I hope today went well for you and that the test results brought you one step closer to finding the best treatment option.

Hugs,
