If what you guys are talking about is what I saw expressed on facebook, all you need to do is insert queen or queer wherever you think is funniest. Maybe you guys can come up with something more original. I’m sure amidst the laughing you guys can find time to “love the sinner”. :rolleyes:

I’m bisexual myself, so I feel entitled. 😛

And for the record, many of the jokes I have floating around my head focus on the word “package”. 😊

Burger King, Chick Fill Eh (or whatever…we don’t have them, blessedly, where I live), and all these other corporations are using tremendously important political issues in order to market themselves to consumers.

"Oh, I don’t have to feel bad about supporting this evil, giant corporation’s destruction of our nation’s health because they SUPPORT! gay marriage!" And vice versa for the chicken restaurant.

Yeah, and I’m sick of people blaming restaurants for health issues. If people think the food isn’t healthy, just don’t eat there. Nobody is required to eat fast food. 🤷

Get over yourself, Dad. They specifically said they were biting their tongue. And PS is hardly someone to lash out at homosexuals… Not every topic needs angry people in it.

And yes, i can think of funny one-liners and love sinners in the same day. If you have trouble doing that, perhaps you need to clear your schedule?
 
I’m southern and Chick-fil-a is seriously the best place with a drive-thru anywhere.

I rarely eat fast food, but I ate there just for the fun of crossing a picket line. In conservative Indiana, it was a very small picket line. My problem is that I can’t have their breakfast biscuit on my way home from church because they are closed on Sundays.

I never understand this sort of analogy. I often hear people complaining about BET, for example, and shouting, “Can you imagine if there were an all-white-people channel?!” The point, of course, is that nearly every other channel traditionally has been all-white, or close to it. And in terms of pride events, the point for the LGBT crowd seems to be that as a group, they’ve been traditionally minimized and marginalized while straight folks haven’t shared that experience. There hasn’t been a need for a “straight pride” event because most of the country is straight and most Americans have enjoyed the results of being part of that majority.
 
Well, at least there are other restaurants to visit.

Chick-fil-A and In-N-Out Burger.

We all know about Chick-fil-A. I’ve been to In-N-Out-Burger over the years here in the L.A. area. I recently heard that bible passages are printed on their cups and burger wrappers. I haven’t noticed, but I will check it out on my next visit.

I know what you mean. Their burgers and fries are so good. It’s usually a long line, but well worth the wait.

I usually go for Subway, McDonalds or Jimmy Johns (another Subway kinda place).

I’m confused; what about this is against Catholic morals?

Does anyone here seriously disagree with the statement “we are all the same inside?”
 
I don’t find this offensive in any way. If they are saying “don’t discriminate against people who aren’t like you/the majority”, then the owners of this restaurant are right.

It’s not “promoting” any particular type of behaviour, it’s simply saying that gay people are (first and foremost) just people.
