In the loving arms of Our Blessed Mother…

Yep, I’m tearing up as well… :crying: :crying:

And everyone should just ignore some posts on this thread.

Dear Agnostic - THANKS FOR SHARING! Isn’t she beautiful!!! Loves me too! Welcome to the family!

Peace,

Gail

Say anything you want, just don’t say God has a mother.

That’s Blasphemy.

“I am the Lord’s servant,” Mary answered. (Luke 1:38)

**Mary : “I am the Lord’s servant,”
Catholics: No, you’re God’s mother!

Mary : “I am the Lord’s servant,”
Catholics: No, you’re God’s mother!!

Mary : “I am the Lord’s servant,”
Catholics: No, you’re God’s mother!!!**

So, who is speaking the Truth?

And Mary said "I am the Lord’s servant"

Not you. You deny the humanity of Jesus. You deny the Hypostatic Union. You deny what the Church has taught from the beginning. You deny the words of Christ (who called the Blessed Virgin Mary - mother). You deny Sacred Scripture (Saint Elizabeth called her cousin Mary “Mother of the Lord”).

JMJ, why are you blaming me? I’m merely putting things into perspective for you.

It is not either/or.
It is both/and.

Now please stop trying to derail THIS thread. If you will start another one of your own, I am certain you will get all the argument you desire

You cannot be both. Is your mother your SERVANT?…do you think she will one day tell you 'hi Lord Indyann, I’m your servant" ???

The two statements aren’t contradictory.

Mary is the Lord’s servant indeed, and she was chosen to serve Him by giving birth to Him when He incarnated as a man.

That’s why the error must be highlighted. Jesus is the name of the flesh that God used for His Spirit while He was on earth. God does not have a mother since He is already the beginning & the Alpha.

You fellas are insulting God with your nonsensical claims.

Again…Is it …

1 : GOD ← JESUS ← MAN

OR

2 : GOD ← JESUS ← MARY ← MAN

BUT Jesus said ‘Matthew 11:28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.’

Jesus never said ‘Go to Mary’. He clearly said ‘Come unto ME

.
The answer is, it is GOD<JESUS<MAN. But Within Christ’s one mediation role, others are used by God to bring souls to Christ, and then to Himself.

For example, God used Paul to bring men to Christ to bring men to Himself. God used Peter, God uses you to bring men to Christ to bring men unto Himself.

In this way also then, God uses Mary–the Mother of Our Lord and His true Mother indeed, for Jesus was truly human–to bring men to Christ her Son, to bring men to God.

JMJ, why are you blaming me? I’m merely putting things into perspective for you.

You are merely making yourself look foolish. Endless repetition of the same “Nyah Nyah Nyah” is playground stuff and convinces no one. I,ve been on these forums for a long time, I have only put one obnoxious poster on ignore, you are number two.

…and what has this concern of yours to do with me?
you have hijacked this thread.
kindly fight this battle of yours in your own thread, you have already created one.
mary, the mother of God, is the Lord’s servant 🤷

The “Mother of God” is referencing who Christ is (God). So yes, Jesus as God and man now has a real Mother. Who gave Him His flesh.

Looks like you missed out on this one: John 6:45 It is written in the Prophets: ‘They will all be taught by God.’ Everyone who listens to the Father and learns from him comes to me.

EVERYONE will be taught by God Himself. God is saying that He will be the teacher…Himself. There’s just God and Man with Jesus right in the middle. NOBODY else.

FINALLY…YOU’RE GETTING CLOSE.

Mary gave the flesh. RIGHT !!!

So, where did the Spiritual GOD come from? Also from Mary??? Certainly not. How can the physical give birth to the Spiritual? And is it the flesh that makes Jesus God or the Spirit that makes Jesus God?

Remember the Bible clearly says ‘GOD IS A SPIRIT’ John 4:24 God is a Spirit.

Did Mary give birth to the Spirit??? NO.

WHAT!? listen to what you’re saying. No Paul? No disciples to preach into all the World? God uses man to bring men to Christ, which in turn brings men to the Father. Are we to assume that our leading men to Christ is in vain? God has chosen for man to interceed for all men-St. Paul

Have you not read your Bible?

We are not talking about whether we need people to bring us the good news. Of course we do. Unless we preach, how can they hear? We are talking about the relationship that God WANTS with Man.

And that is a personal and direct relationship through Christ, and nobody else in between. No Mary and No Pope.

Maybe you don’t realize that Jesus is not just a diety with a human body. But Jesus emptied Himself and became man. All that comes with being a man, Jesus took upon himself. Mystery yes.

Jesus as man has a real Mother.

I’m not sure what the argument is.
