My dear friend in Christ,

What a beautiful and moving story:) Thank you so very much!

Keep praying to our Blessed Mother, and she will lead you to her Son Jesus.

As to Mother Mary being “Co-Redeemer,” this in not yet an acknowledged doctrine of the RCC.

There are a couple of key points to ponder:
  1. Mary’s role in based on the Merits of Her Son Jesus.
  2. Her role is not that of “Redeemer” in the same way we understand that Jesus Christ is our Redeemer." There can only be One Redeemer, and it is Jesus Christ.
  3. Mother Mary’s indespensible role is as God Himself has Ordained to be the “Administraitor” of “All Graces.” God “owns the bank,” while Mary, is the “chief loan officer” so to speak.
Sister, if you have any other questions about the RCC, please ask, there are many of us eager to be of assistance.

Continue to pray:)

God’s continued Blessing,
Love and prayers.

Say anything you want, just don’t say God has a mother.

That’s Blasphemy.
.
God jr,

You truly haven’t got a clue, have you? How has Jesus come about then? You said to go to the bible. The bible crystal clearly documents His birth to a virgin, furthermore, the OT prophecised it, the prophet Jeremiah (among others) predicted the birth of Christ to a virgin about 800 years before Christ showed up!!! wake up and have some Starbucks coffe, you really need it. And Mary is NOT a sinner, if she was, why didn’t God pick your sister (or any other for that matter)instead of her? Mary is Sinless. The Catholic Church does not percieve Mary as another god, it perceives her mainly as an intercessor and what is your problem with that? is it because of her ability to bring Her Son’s Light, Love, Hope, Healing and Restoration to those who need it? you can have some of it if you like, there is plently for everyone. All you have to do is ask. You believe if God is the Alpha and Omega then He couldn’t possibly have a mother. God is outside of our narrow range of concieving or perceiving things. He does not act or operate using ways forseen by men, that is what makes Him the God He is at the first place.

Ag_not (I love your new name, makes perfect sense;) ),

I just read book titled “The prayer of Mary” by Keith Fournier. The author thoroughly discusses the Magnificat in most admirable profound way, I think you might want to get your a copy or barrow one from your local library if you are in the US. I personally digged that book all the way to heaven, so much so that I just kept on highlighting it passage after passage, it makes so much sense and brings so much light and undestanding to the believer. I find it to be extremely educational. The author is a lawyer, theologian etc, etc. I mean the guy is loaded and that’s what explains him having such deep and sophisticated grasp of Mary’s position as the Mother of God. I hope you’ll read it.

My dear friends in Christ,

Catholics understand that it is Christ who is “the corner stone, and a stumbling stone to many,” not the BVM.

Why? Good question:) Thanks for asking.

Let’s open our bible, and to be fair, I’ll quote from the KJV.

Luke Chapter 1:Jesus’ Birth Foretold
26 And in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God unto a city of Galilee, named Nazareth, 27 To a virgin espoused to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David; and the virgin’s name was Mary. 28 And the angel came in unto her, and said, Hail, thou that art highly favoured, (the orginal bible; the Catholic Bible say’s:“Hail full of grace”) the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women. 29 And when she saw him, she was troubled at his saying, and cast in her mind what manner of salutation this should be. 30 And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God. 31 And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS. 32 He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David: 33 And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end. 34 Then said Mary unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man? 35 And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.
  1. She was chosen from all mankind by God Himself to be the"Mother of HIS Son."
  2. The Holy Spirit (Holy Ghost) caused Mary to be impreginated with the very Son of God. What an Awesome God we have, Amen?
3.Jesus accepted Mary to be His mother.
  3. Mary gave birth to the Son of God, and thus HAS TO BE, the MOTHER of GOD:thumbsup: Amen?
  4. So we find complete acceptance of Mary as “The Mother of God,” from God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
Remember I’m quoting your KJV bible.
Now as for being ever virgin: Luke 1:28 … Highly favored is simply watered down" for full of grace. How can we know this?
Keep in mind. that the Catholic bible was the ONLY bible for the first fifteen hundred years of Christinity, and that the entire N.T. was written by Catholics. Amen? The KJB was not published until 1611, and still has at least 90% Catholic teaching in it, which is why I knew I could quote from it. Amen?

Another good question, again thanks for asking.

Once again lets open the KJV to Exodus Chapter twenty five.
“The Ark of the Testimony”

10 And they shall make an ark of shittim wood: two cubits and a half shall be the length thereof, and a cubit and a half the breadth thereof, and a cubit and a half the height thereof. 11 And thou shalt overlay it with pure gold, within and without shalt thou overlay it
So why “pure gold.” You really ask good questions, thanks;)

The key word is “pure” why? Because the Ark was to contian the Commandments, and thus “the Presence of God’s Spirit.” I urge you to read all of Chapter 25, to see how particualr and demanding God was just to “house His Spirit.” Yes I do know what else the Ark contained. Again thanks for asking.

Now that you have grasped this concept, would not God INSIST on a “pure vessel” to be the house of His Very Son? Indeed, God would. because He God is “all - Perfect” could not (note I did not say “would not”) accept anything less than “pure and perfect.” To do so would be to deny the very Nature of God Himself. Amen? Simply not possible!

With this proper theological understanding of who God is, what God is and the unlimited power of God, we recognize that Mary “had to be,” "full of grace: i.e. perfect, in order to be worthy (NOTE: Worthy only through the very merits of Her Son Jesus!) as desired and demanded by God Himself.

We are born in sin, because our parents are sinners, as are all of us, Mary was conceived without sin, never commited sin, as a singular priveldge granted by God himself, who agreed “to become man,” (The God - man), but being a Perfect God Himself, could not be born from sin. Amen?

So that gives you something to ponder. Know there is a GREAT deal more truth, and we’d love to share it with you. “Ask and you
shall receive.” Amen?

God’s continued Blessings and may the Holy Spirit, God Himself lead you to His truth. Amen!👍

The flesh part of Jesus does not make Him God. So Mary who gave Jesus the fleshly body is not the mother of God (who is essentially a Spirit).

Thats a real interesting thought, but do you not know what your (assuming its the KJV) bible says? Or did someone give you the right to pick and choose what you wish to convience yourself of?😉

We must agree here that God does not have a mother. Mary gave birth to the physical flesh that would not be God if there weren’t the Spirit of God within. It is the Spirit that makes Jesus the Son of God.

Reply continued: Yes BUT the Spirit of God was in the Flesh of Jesus. One body and two seperate Natures. One as God, required to be “the very Son of God”, and a second nature, in order to be human.

We too have a body and physical nature, and a soul, which is spirit, and indeed it is the soul that animates our bodies. Jesus too in His Human nature had a body and soul, but in addition He had a second Devine nature as God. Amen?

We are made “in the image and likeness of God” but we ARE NOT Gods. Amen?
  • God has no mother.
  • Mary is not sinless.

Explaining Mary:

Luke 1: 26 In the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God to a city of Galilee named Nazareth, 27 to a virgin betrothed to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David; and the virgin’s name was Mary. 28 And he came to her and said, “Hail, full of grace, * the Lord is with you!” * 29 But she was greatly troubled at the saying, and considered in her mind what sort of greeting this might be. 30* And the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God. 31* And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bear a son, and you shall call his name Jesus. 32 He will be great, and will be called the Son of the Most High; and the Lord God will give to him the throne of his father David, 33* and he will reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there will be no end.” 34* And Mary said to the angel, “How shall this be, since I have no husband?” 35* And the angel said to her, "The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you; therefore the child to be born * will be called holy, the Son of God.

36 And behold, your kinswoman Elizabeth in her old age has also conceived a son; and this is the sixth month with her who was called barren. 37* For with God nothing will be impossible." 38 And Mary said, “Behold, I am the handmaid of the Lord; let it be to me according to your word.” And the angel departed from her.

39 In those days Mary arose and went with haste into the hill country, to a city of Judah, 40 and she entered the house of Zechariah and greeted Elizabeth. 41 And when Elizabeth heard the greeting of Mary, the babe leaped in her womb; and Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit 42* and she exclaimed with a loud cry, “Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb! 43 And why is this granted me, that the mother of my Lord should come to me? 44 For behold, when the voice of your greeting came to my ears, the babe in my womb leaped for joy. 45 And blessed is she who believed that there would be * a fulfillment of what was spoken to her from the Lord.” 46* And Mary said, "My soul magnifies the Lord,

This is the short version of the truth. we’ll be happy to provide more details if your willing to listen?

God’s continued blessing my friend, God would’t have said it if it wasn’t true. Amen?
