=tweetymom;6291043]Communion should be open to all Christians for starters. Birth control.Confession, I go direct, That is just 3 of the most important ones to me.

Rules that do not agree with the Bible, such as Peter the first Pope., only men in authority can interperte the Bible.
***Hi
While I can’t [and don’t] disagree with your desires there are very sound and profound reasons why things are as they are. All of them having a Biblical foundation.
Jesus Himself; either explicitly: Baptism, Confirmation, Eucharist, Confession or implicitly; Holy Orders [priesthood], Marriage and the Last Rites, instituted the Seven Sacraments as a means of Special Graces in conjunction with the founding of His new Church [Mt. 16;15-19, Eph. 2:19-23] knowing that they would be needed by His “New Chosen People,”[Jn. 15:15] in order to accept fully the truth of what He taught and what He expects all of us to follow [including Confession of our sins to His priest] JOHN 20:20-23.
Many of Christ teachings are not easy to understand, accept or follow. Neverytheless, that does not factor in to what Jesus expects from us.
Catholic Holy Communion, really is Jesus Himself made present in His Now Glorified and perfected Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity. We can only see Him through Faith, because His Divine Majesty is too much for us [Mt. 17: 6-7] to be able to handle.
Each of the Seven sacraments was instituted specifically for His Church and His New Chosen People. He does not withhold these graces as in making them impossible to get, BUT as is His RIGHT, Christ insist that to get them, one MUST BE A CATHOLIC.
We are reminded that One Church is God’s Will and His Hearts desire. Were He to make these heavenly gifts available to all without conditions; what need would there be for His One True Church? ***
Deut.30: 15 “See, I have set before you this day life and good, death and evil. I call heaven and earth to witness against you this day, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and curse; therefore choose life, that you and your descendants may live,”
Wis.16: 13 “For thou hast power over life and death;thou dost lead men down to the gates of Hades and back again.”
Consider the number of times God directly intervened to make an “impossible” birth happen. Abram and Sarah, Elezebeth [motherof John the Baptist] and Mary the Mother of Jesus just to name a few. LIFE and death issues are GOD’s decisions and nobody has the right to usurp His Divine intervention. We know factually GOD has a paln because not every unprotected union results is pregnancy.
The Road to heaven is UPHILL, BUMPY AND DIFFICULT. Was our Lords any easier?
***Mark.8: 34 And he [JESUS] called to him the multitude with his disciples, and said to them, "If any man would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow ***
