I miss Arrested Development. Freaks and Geeks was good too. Kidnapped from this season was awesome. The Muppet Show

The one I miss the most tho wasn’t cancelled. Six Feet Under.

Clubhouse - (it was about a fictional pro-baseball team and the life of a teenager who attended a Catholic high school, who was the bat boy). It starred Dean Cain, Christopher Lloyd, and Mare Winningham, and I think it was produced by Mel Gibson. I think it only lasted for about 6 episodes in the Fall of 2004. It looked like it had real promise.

Reunion on Fox.

Quantum Leap (1989-1993)

I also liked the sci-fi program "Sliders" . I was ticked off when they cancelled the show with a cliffhanger!!!

How many other shows were cancelled with a cliffhanger!?

Although, the characters were sometimes unlikable and the decisions they made weren’t good ones, I kind of miss American Dreams. Mainly, for the music and the time period it was set in.

Also, I miss The Wonder Years a lot.

WIth the political world like it is today, I miss Murphy Brown!👍 Also I miss, *Just Shoot Me *and Frazier!

Is it just me or do others seem that most of the good shoes are the ones that get canceled?

Total Security (1997)
The District (1996-2000)
WKRP in Cincinnati
Sue Thomas FBI
The Clubhouse
E-Ring
Dr. Laura Schlessinger (yes she did have a talk tv show)

I definitely miss Joan of Arcadia very much. And Six Feet Under was one of my favorites. What I liked about the way Six Feet Under ended tho, was that it REALLY ended. How many shows that have ended can you honestly say that you know what happened to EVERY single character??? Pretty cool.

The very last 10 minutes of the very last 6 Feet Under, had me weeping my eyes out. So sad, but yet, kind of nice, to see how the “people” who were complicated and real, ended up happy in their own ways, Ruth being surrounded by David and Claire and her second husband, and looking over to see her “late Nates”. Brenda looking like she was finally bored to death by Billy, David seeing Keith as the last thought he has, all the while seeing all of the happy things that happened to them too. Soo good. Also that show was inherently quotable, although not on these boards!

I liked *Birds of Prey *about Batgirl. I don’t know if you all have heard of that. They only made 13 episodes.

The Revised “Dark Shadows” back in 1990-1991! (I grew up on the origninal daytime saga and loved it)
And boy, what a cliffhanger it was!!!

I swore, after that, that I’d never watch another day/night-time serial again. (Or get hooked on any other shows)

In fact, that was the beginning of the end of me watching TV.

Most of the shows on, today, are “Reality” shows and Crime dramas, like “Law & Order”, “CSI”, “Cold Case Files”, etc.
Some of them are pretty good, but I tend to get tired of them.

I miss “Highway to Heaven” and “Touched by an Angel”.

Now I do a whole lot of reading and never have to worry about “cancelled cliffhangers” again. 😃

God Bless!

Farscape and Freaks & Geeks are two of my top five all time favorite shows, sooooooo sad that they went too soon 😦 We’ll never get to see the fallout of Lindsay taking off, or Daniel finding himself more comfortable among the geeks; or know if the Nebari would have taken advantage of the Peacekeeper/Scarran war to trigger the contagion (of course, if they hadn’t introduced the utterly useless Jool, they could have done more with the Nebari in season 3, and not relegated the wonderful Chiana to background verbal & physical abuse taker…no bitterness here

Miracles was one that never really got off the ground but that my mom and I loved - ABC, a few years ago, Skeet Ulrich as an investigator for the Vatican…kind of like a devil’s advocate if I remember correctly. It was very good.

My mother still mourns the loss of Joan of Arcadia - everytime we’re flipping around and see Ghost Whisperer she comments on how they took the concept for Joan and reduced it to the lowest common denominator.

I was a big fan of Arrested Development, and initially mourned its cancellation, but now I think it happened just when it should have. I do wish we’d finished out season 3, but it was getting too raunchy and full of itself. EVERY joke was so tasteless and in your face it stopped being as funny.

And of course, Star Trek TOS. 3 years was far too short for that show.

Also, I miss The Wonder Years a lot.
If you can get the ION channel they have put that one, Alice, Diagnosis Murder, and my favorite…Mama’s Family, re-runs on. I enjoy watching the old shows!!!

Please don’t judge me for posting this show but The Oblongs. That show was really disturbing in a lot of ways and pulled for obvious reasons and I think it was even banned in a country or two. However, I never had much of a problem with it and Will Farrel is always hilarious. The reason I didn’t have much of a problem with it was because as disturbing as the show was it was so ridiculously stupid and fictional that it was funny and obviously not realistic.

I would like to see a re-run or two of my mother’s favorite show, “I Remember Mama”, or sometimes just called, “Mama”. Unfortunately, I don’t think they were taped because tape didn’t exist then!
