His wife was a VP at Goldman Sacs. How in the world is that not a conflict of interest? Even if she did step down for her husband’s campaign. She was a VP when all of those bailouts were happening.
I wouldn’t be surprised if Cruz is golfing buddies with half of those scumbags who scammed the taxpayers out of a lot of money.
He is just as bad as everyone else.

It doesn’t make any sense. First of all, because Trump supporters tend to stay behind him 110% and there is very little that will change their mind.

There is no way someone who is actively voting for Trump and choosing to vote for Trump could support Hillary.

She is the apex of everything totally wrong with Washington. She is conniving, corrupt, diabolical and will completely destroy this country if she makes President.

Trump isn’t a politician…and that is the biggest reason why people are voting for him. He isn’t apart of the establishment in their minds because he wasn’t elected to office.
Cruz never voted on any bailout and how many VPs does Goldman Sachs have? Probably a bunch.

Yet his wife was a VP during that craziness. Goldman donated to his senate campaign.

I don’t see him as an outsider at all.

Trump’s comments on Planned Parenthood…:banghead:

Pro lifers are criticising his comments on Twitter. He did say they are not going to fund it with abortion taking place, but…

I missed it, he was talking too long and I just couldn’t take it anymore. I’ll have to go look for the transcript or something. Or did he just say his usual, PP has helped millions and millions of women?

Wake up, social conservatives! Trump doesn’t care about PP, abortion, euthanasia, or gay marriage one way or the other.

What makes America great is our constitution, not trump.
Could we count on trump to uphold and defend the constitution? Very doubtful
Cruz is a defender of the constitution and knows it well, that we can count on.

Personally I think Trump will follow his MO of being CEO and just rule by executive order like Obama if he was elected.

Yeah he basically said it helped a lot of women but as long as abortion was taking place it wouldn’t be funded or sonething.

Good to know one has never voted for pro-abortion candidates!

That applies to Trump too I suppose; but at least, he claims to change.

Well hopefully some people who weren’t listening before, were now. I don’t think it will make a difference, his Apprentice fan supporters think they know him and he can do no wrong in their eyes. I’ve been wondering if reality tv shows will be the new pre election campaign strategy. Get paid and become a household name.

I supported the idea of abortions before my conversion.

No one I know has questioned my current stance on abortion.

Trump has stated he doesn’t support abortions and is pro-life. That is what his platform includes.

That is good enough for me.

I’m not advising myself; I’m advising social conservatives. One thing you can say about Obama, Clinton, and Sanders that you cannot say about Trump, and that is they, unlike Trump, are consistent in their beliefs, whether or not you may agree with them.

Personally, I don’t understand all this “evil establishment” nonsense. Yes, there are corrupt politicians, but this has always been the case everywhere. Any failure to fulfill goals is primarily because A) you have to make compromises and B) the other party is blocking you. *Of course *the Republicans haven’t made as much progress as people want – they would need the house, senate, presidency, and maybe even the supreme court to make *all * the changes voters want them to make.

So I suppose I really just cannot fathom the logic behind the current rebellion. If anything, it seems to me that Republicans are playing right into the Democrats’ hands. 🤷

At the least, he has never been in a position to actually legislate over abortion as well and that is meaningful.

I think Paul Ryan is suppose to be very pro-life but did not this budget deal fund planned parenthood? I believe so. And he had a lot to do with that budget deal.

Trump’s not my first choice but he’s okay with me.

Well, typically, anyway… I think Hillary flip flops a bit, but certainly Trump wins by a mile in that category. I haven’t even got a clue what he’s going to do if he wins – he probably doesn’t even know himself. I’m hoping for a split convention. 😉
