Most folks would agree. However, since Pope Francis had requested him to speak at the consortium, and afterwards publicly lauded his speech, I have the sense he could issue a Motu Proprio of his own, depending on the debates and the conclusions of the majority. I have the utmost confidence in our Pope. When he was elected, I had a full day of spiritual rejoicing that was not of this world, and knew he was special!!Ok, so a question was raised as to whether or not something is possible.
We’ll have to wait on what the synod officially says, but as of now it seems as if most bishops have said it isn’t possible. So in theory, it should be all over, right?
