Yes. An annulment simply states that what was believed to be a marriage was actually not a valid marriage because of some issue. Anything that can be done to make those judgments more quickly should be done so long as the process of determining whether a valid marriage exists isn’t compromised. For example, it would do wonders for dioceses to simply hire more canon lawyers.Is there any way that the annulment process could be streamlined and made quicker in a good way that didn’t violate the Catholic Church’s teaching on marriage?
