Politically speaking, progressives would sound more authentic and believable prolifers if they were to become against abortion since the living is as important as the unborn by their stance on healthcare, education, increasing minimum wage, maternity leave, immigration, gun control, capital punishment, the environment, etc… People that only focus solely on abortion are not Pro-lifers but rather Pro-birthers.
👍

I think they really don’t understand how much they support an anti-life agenda by being pro-Republican. There are certain code phrases, like “get regulations off the backs of businesses,” which really mean let them kill and annihilate life on planet earth…which would be a very effective way to end abortion. Just kill everyone!

If they really want progressive Catholics to vote for their candidates, then they should be working hard to get those candidates to support ALL life issues, not just be against elective abortions, but also against causing miscarriages, birth defects, and harming and killing born people.

On the other hand, they might just intend the plain meaning of the words.

In addition, we’ve had conservative scotus for more than 4 decades, numerous conservative presidents in the past and conservative House and Senate currently but abortion is still leagal. So, this politics in abortion is nothing but a conservative selling point. Until Pro-birthers really become Prolifers by supporting those issues mentioned above and I see the courage the GOP finally dumps the orange clown and the Tea Party, I will keep voting for the Democratic Party. The GOP needs to clean its house…
There really is no need to lie about conservatives to justify your support for the Party of Death.
If the unborn are not important to you, well then they are not important to you, but it is preposterous to believe that conservatives only care about unborn life.

As far as talking points go to support the Party of Death, it is inane to continually pretend that this lie has any truth to it.

It is as preposterous as saying people who are against the Holocaust only care about Jews.

This is not a complete list, because who has the time, but here are five stories about the horror show that is Donald Trump’s campaign this week:

Buzzfeed - Sources: Donald Trump Listened In On Phone Lines At Mar-A-Lago
At Mar-a-Lago, the Palm Beach resort he runs as a club for paying guests and celebrities, Donald Trump had a telephone console installed in his bedroom that acted like a switchboard, connecting to every phone extension on the estate, according to six former workers. Several of them said he used that console to eavesdrop on calls involving staff.
New York Times - Trump Institute Offered Get-Rich Schemes With Plagiarized Lessons
As with Trump University, the Trump Institute promised falsely that its teachers would be handpicked by Mr. Trump. Mr. Trump did little, interviews show, besides appear in an infomercial — one that promised customers access to his vast accumulated knowledge… ."
Reality fell far short. In fact, the institute was run by a couple who had run afoul of regulators in dozens of states and had been dogged by accusations of deceptive business practices and fraud for decades. Similar complaints soon emerged about the Trump Institute.
Yet there was an even more fundamental deceit to the business, unreported until now: Extensive portions of the materials that students received after paying their seminar fees, supposedly containing Mr. Trump’s special wisdom, had been plagiarized from an obscure real estate manual published a decade earlier.
Cracked - The Laziest Lie Of Donald Trump’s Entire Campaign (So Far)
… if you search through Trump’s twitter history, you’ll find that it’s not at all uncommon for Trump to quote accounts that are not only not real, but obviously not real.
NBC - After Saying He Forgave Loans to Campaign, Trump Won’t Release Proof
When Donald Trump said last Thursday he was forgiving over $45 million in personal loans he made to his campaign, the announcement drew plenty of coverage. Many even reported Trump’s statement as if the deal was done.
But it’s not.
A week later, NBC News has learned the FEC has posted no record of Trump converting his loans to donations. The Trump Campaign has also declined requests to share the legal paperwork required to execute the transaction, though they suggest it has been submitted.
HuffPo - Why The New Child Rape Case Filed Against Donald Trump Should Not Be Ignored
… based on the record thus far, Jane Doe’s claims appear credible. Mr. Epstein’s own sexual crimes and parties with underage girls are well documented, as is Mr. Trump’s relationship with him two decades ago in New York City. Mr. Trump told a reporter a few years ago: “I’ve known Jeff for 15 years. Terrific guy. He’s a lot of fun to be with. It is even said that he likes beautiful women as much as I do, and many of them are on the younger side. No doubt about it, Jeffrey enjoys his social life.”
Powerfully, Jane Doe appears to have an eyewitness to all aspects of her claim, a witness who appears to have put herself in substantial danger by coming forward, because at a minimum Mr. Epstein knows her true identity.
This is one week in Trump’s campaign. And it’s not even a complete list of stories from today alone about his vast history of fraud and abuse. He is really just a deeply unethical and harmful human being. It’s that simple.

It should come as no surprise that any of the above left wing media sources would do hit pieces on Trump…or that they’ll keep doing it. This is Democrat politics all the way.

No need to refute any of those stories, when you can simply declare the sources biased, eh? Textbook example of an ad hominem fallacy.

That is purely nonsensical.

Conservatives are not people that want to kill and annihilate life on planet earth.

The lengths that people will go to to justify themselves in believing that the unborn are just so much glorified sperm is beyond ludicrous.

But obviously, only a leftist to really know what a conservative is all about. Conservatives are too busy annihilating all life forms to really have any such insight into ourselves.

It isn’t Trump I can assure you that!
of course not…but until this country*** turns back to God and stops the culture of death in its tracks***, Trump is the only option we have (the only REAL option because of electoral college votes, not popular vote). We still have people being sued in this country just for refusing to bake a cake for a fake wedding because they disagree with the homosexual lifestyle. They would still bake a birthday cake. Our other candidate option wants to expand abortion. With Trump, we have more of a chance to de-fund Planned Parenthood. Hilary would give them MORE of our TAX $$$$$. A third party would never win any electoral college votes.

You are sounding like Trump. What lie are you talking about. Please do tell me how I lied about conservatives. I was simply listing the progressive stance on social and political issues. How did I lie about conservatives? Can you enlighten me about the issues they are passionate about and are willing to fight for? And what gives you the idea that the unborn is not important to me? THAT TO ME IS A BIG LIE!!!

At minimal we have impropriety and the very issue with this party.

Recusal!
Remember how we have spoken about the Hispanic vote?

Well I told you that Trump is really anti-hispanic.

Look at this joke that he made earlier today in Nh. Yes I know, the liberals are twisting his words.
talkingpointsmemo.com/livewire/trump-mexico-attack-plane

He’s just inflicting fear and paranoia.

This is in regars to the Hispanic voters
The poll, which has Clinton leading 69 percent to Trump’s 20 percent among Hispanics, came in the wake of Trump’s allegations that a judge from Indiana could not be impartial in cases involving the now-defunct Trump University because of his family’s Mexican heritage.

Hate to say I told you so. My whole argument for Rubio was that he could pull the critical suburbs, swing voters. And that Trump couldn’t. Frankly a lot of people in the 'burbs demographic think Trump is a bit of a freak show. At least someone is addressing this problem now, rather than in November. Hope the Trump campaign is listening. Calm it down. Think it through. And get the party on board.

 But, but, but you told me FOX was lies and racist. You refused to accept it according to our last conversation. What happened, change of heart?

Let me ask you a outside question about the left. How would you explain Black -Hispanic relations?
I can only guess that the reason you don’t hear much about black-versus-Hispanic violence in America is that you’re not supposed to hear much about it. It’s the sort of thing that swims upstream against the dominant narrative with the tenacity of a thuggish, heavily tattooed salmon. In the nation’s fevered movie dreams about racial violence, it’s white people (and only white people) who go about thrashing nonwhites (and only nonwhites). But in cities across the country—most notably, Los Angeles—one group of nonwhites is engaged in a prolonged, grinding, violent turf war with another group of nonwhites—and that’s something which is clearly NOT in the script. So it’s best for the crafty screenwriters to convince the dimwitted moviegoers that it’s not happening; failing that, they’ll squirm for a way to blame white people, anyway.

I think we have a very underestimated issue here. 😉 And frankly I don’t see it getting better. Course one might revert to the male mating habits but thats not really indicative of anything. Now in my travels around america I find the above to be a issue?

But I know you came to have an honest conversation today, so do tell.

I do stand by the fox comment. I don’t know if you remember, but some 12 years ago, Sean Hannity has a co anchor, Allan Coombs, he basically ran him out.

Now in regards to them being racist, if a minority doesn’t back their ideology, they will go after them.

So what do you think of your boy Trump and the plane joke?

Mexican and black relations are not the best. You can see by the neighborhood rivalries, but Hispanics don’t mind backing an African American, like they did with Obama.

People back whoever, you realize all of us are not afflicted with the prejudice turned racism. If fact its a rather small percent all the way around. People are taught hate and if you don’t teach it to them they don’t know it. Most people like Martians prefer to be around green people. But thats not a hard fast rule either as many just don’t feel obligated by that comfort either.

I don’t think Fox is racist, as then Kimberly is hispanic spanish and Juan is black. In fact Juan is a democrat. The problem with politics is people become consumed by their own position and it becomes personal. Its easy to jump to conclusions from there.

The polls by Fox may or may not be true, look at Real Politics where they compare all the polls. Florida is close and a few of the swing states are now PA etc. The race is going to be close. Trump has been losing a percent of Republicans and gaining with Independents which all will shift through August.

Trust such as with Trump is an issue for the basic reasons you cite, Hillary because shes a liar etc.

But you see this is the problem with identity politics. You may not be racist like Obama or Trump, but when you intentionally insult people be it for political gain or to make a point, simply put they remember because they are hurt. So unification won’t come through such a path. People would feel the same way about Hillary in Obamas same position. Its the politics not all together the specifics of a persons race that display bias through identity.

The plane situation up in Maine I heard live recorded. Its insensitive just as I was saying above. But thats not racism its politics. Truth be told I don’t even think Obama or Trump are really prejudice. I think both at times are simply loose with their mouth. Diarrhea of the mouth seems to be a common virus today.

So you think it was OK for Liz Warren to pretend to be Native American-Indian? So self identification with who ever is OK?

See, but Kimberly is a staunch conservative. That goes with my point that the main (95%) of those minorities in Fox are right wing.

Have you ever watched the Five in Fox News? Juan Williams is the only democrat, and they go after him, but the man fights back pretty well.

But according to you, Obama is just a mouth full of diarrhea, you have made it seem like Trump was Jesus Christ Jr.

If what Warren said, was false, she should be taken out of her senate seat.

RCP’s avg shows Florida is Hillary’s by about 4%. Of course had they included this poll from the end of June, none of these states would appear to be as close. In this poll, Hillary mops up Trump, with her leading by:

51% to 37% in Florida
49% to 35% in Pennsylvania
45% to 38% in Virginia
46% to 37% in Ohio
45% to 41% in Iowa
50% to 33% in Michigan
48% to 38% in North Carolina

Trump is going to lose as badly as Dukakis.

I think folks around here know that. He has no chance of winning the general election.

Admit it. You know Trump isn’t going to win.

I learned long ago to not say never. It seems to be an invitation to universe to make it happen. BTW, when I say universe, I mean anti-God. It may be the Irish in me
