There isn’t a vote for “Extra Regular Catholic”
I was looking for the fat-free option, and was quite disturbed at its omission. 😦

Heheh

I scored an 84, and I thought I was a liberal. I guess I should turn these points into the Bishop’s office now?

This thread is never going to end because new people are going to keep coming and taking this Quiz.
Why did I do such a thing? :banghead: When are y’all going to make a real Catholic Answers quiz? Hurry!!!

You scored 82, on a scale of 0 to 100. Here’s how to interpret your score:
0 - 30
You are a “recovering” Catholic. More about you.
30 - 50
You are a progressive Catholic. More about you.
50 - 70
You are a liberal Catholic. More about you.
70 - 80
You are a neo-traditionalist Catholic. More about you.
**80 - 100
You are a traditionalist Catholic. More about you. **

Not a good test though. The answers were written with bias. I could’ve done a much better one. I don’t feel very traditionalist…

For instance, the how do you pray answer was bad. I use more than one method to pray. Lousy test.

Scored a 92 which means I am a “Traditional” Catholic.

I think I scored so high was that if I had a choice between two of the options on a question, I chose the more traditional one.

Haha! I originally called myself “progressive,” but it turns out I’m neo-Traditionalist (78). I think the progressive label was left over from my days as an evangelical. If you mentioned that the Democratic party had a decent social policy or two, you were labeled as “liberal,” “post-modern,” and “pro-abortion.” If you thought that evolution was compatible with an open reading of Scripture, you were going straight to Hell. I thought my dad was going to have a heart attack when I told him I joined Amnesty International.

I scored 83, so I was right, I am traditionalist… but I prefer it to have a capital “T” 🙂 I’m Traditionalist. Apostolic Tradition is the BOMB!!! 😉

What makes no sense is that “more about you” was totally off. I fit in more with the Neo-traditionalist. Gift of finest wheat and Ave Maria are two of my fav hymns, John Paul the Great is my favorite pope and I prefer Mel Gibson to the Bells of St. Marys. Hmmmmm??? Maybe I am somewhere in between? I am Traditionalist when it comes to the Apostolic Traditions of the Church, strict on Morality, but also enjoy the changes in Vatican II that worked to bring the Church to the people, but think it was vastly misinterpreted by liberal Catholics. Vatican II revised some of teh traditions but was never intended to change Apostolic Tradition!

According to the test I am a traditionalist Catholic… However, I think there are two terms only: that is “faithful” and “unfaithful” there is nothing in between.

God Bless

A score of 91…mmmmmmmmm
I really like to be known as a Catholic and that automatically includes the faithful adherence to the magisterium.
I did find a question testy, Pope John Paul the great was sidelined as a Pope who let the dissidents get away with murder, he did not, its the dissidents and some Bishops who did not listen and put his enyclicals into action.
God Bless

**You scored 90, on a scale of 0 to 100

I am happy to be a traditionalist.!

87…Traditionalist…but even so, I found some questions tough to answer because they poked you one way or the other, or otherwise meandered around Church doctrine without hitting it.

You know the meatless Friday thing is still in effect, right? I’m not harping on you, but, I didn’t find out until this year & I’ve been spreading the word on this one…
Friday is a day of penance. You are not required to abstain from meat on Friday. You are only required to do so if you do not do another form of penance.

God bless,
