Not a meme per se but among the things I miss about the old CAF was the signatures, which gave me a chance to display my Lenten GIF

Too soon? 😷

No, not cosplay. I want to be wearing that, walking along a main thoroughfare in a major city, striking a huge piece of metal with a resounding clang, and chanting, “Bring out your dead! Bring out your dead!”

I was just about to post the “Monty Python and the Holy Grail” sketch about it, in response to your post, but wondered if it was literally Too Soon for that…

The only way that image would be even better, is if about 30 feet behind me there was a deacon dressed in an alb carrying a crucifix, and behind him a priest in full regalia carrying a monstrance, and behind him a parade of believers dressed somberly singing the Te Deum with a banner reading:
  • If then my people, upon whom my name has been pronounced, humble themselves and pray, and seek my face and turn from their evil ways, I will hear them from heaven and pardon their sins and heal their land. 2 Chron 7:14
I’d love to see how many of the people walking in the street would join us…

As I recall, the first Easter was just Jesus and Mary Magdalene. And he told her not to touch him. #socialdistanceeaster

(And to which I’d add #NoliMeTangere )
