Not according to you. Opposite your name, on the upper right corner where it says “Religion” you have written “Orthodox.” All the appellations of your various Churches are followed by “Orthodox.” Only rarely do we see “Orthodox Catholic.” Maybe you can spread the word and get that changed. Until you do, the Catholic Church is the only Church that is universally referred to as “The Catholic Church” by its adherents and other intelligent people. In addition, of course, there is the pejorative ‘Roman Catholic Church,’ but that’s a misnomer.Yes, and we are still called the Catholic Church. Always have been and always will be.
Sorry. Of course not. I consider all Orthodox Churches to be Catholic Churches. Always have, always will.BTW you still haven’t answered my question. Since in later times different descriptors were added the names of various Catholic Churches, such as “Melkite” or “Chaldean”, does that mean they are not “catholic” and not part of the original Church?
Then all Orthodox Churches support a right to abortion? All celebrate Easter on the same day? All are, straight down the line in doctrinal agreement with each other? I don’t know enough to say one way or the other so I’ll take your word for it.Of course. We wouldn’t be in communion otherwise.
