Do you think most Catholics vote “with their faith”? As an example, do you think that most Catholics would choose not to vote for a candidate because of his/her stance on same sex marriage or abortion?
It strikes me that Catholics should be able to make a strong impact on any election and certainly that of our future president. Yet I’ve never seen any census that validates whether one’s religion or religious beliefs do, in fact, impact their voting decisions.
As for me, there is a deep sense of an even more pronounced importance in making a sound decision in this election. There are several people running that are just plain scary and it resounds with the notion that the “end is coming”.
