How about salmon and cream cheese with no red sauce, on a based of garlic oil…for Fridays of course!

It’s too bad you don’t have the option of choosing more than one topping because I love Hawaiian pizza – Canadian bacon and pineapple. My husband thinks that combination is from Satan so we usually have half Hawiian and half pepperoni.

Anything other than Pepperoni is just wrong.

And that’s dogmatic. I think it was in the latest Encyclical by the Holy Father.

I don’t know about you, but my family always went out for pizza right after Mass.

I am severly lactose intolerant and can’t have pizza. Since last Thursday I have been fantasizing about the ultimate slice.

This question is KILLIN’ ME!!
You have our sympathy. We don’t mean to cause you pain. :nope:

One of my favorite toppings (well it isn’t really a topping) is peanut butter. Yes, I know it sounds yucky, but when I tried it at a local pizza place I was pleasantly surprised. The pizza is a normal pepperoni pizza with a thin layer of peanut butter added before the tomato sauce.
I haven’t tried peanut butter on a pizza, but I am definitely a believer in pepperoni and peanut (dry roasted or green) peanuts. Yum yum yummy! Then again, I think the peanut is underutilized, and love dishes with peanuts and/or peanut sauce. An allergy to peanuts would really make my life difficult, and if any of my future children have it they’re going to have to live in a bubble or spacesuit!

I’m a vegetarian (or at least try to be) so green healthy stuff all the way, especially mushroom, peppers, tomato, eggplant, artichoke. If you can’t tell by my name, I’m italian and my nana made the most amazing sicilian pizza!!! Good enough to slip on the vegetarianism!!!

We had great pizza last night: pineapple, mushrooms, and onions. SOmetimes I add peppers to the mix too. mmmmmm. 👍

I like just about anything on my pizza, but MUST HAVES are olives and mushrooms.

I’ll also add sausage, tomatoes, and onions when possible.

Sounds like an actuary speaking…

hee hee

I like bacon and pineapple. Good thing I chose a religion where I can eat it !!! (Except on Fridays, but that’s OK!)

I would have to say my favorite is extra, though I also heartily enjoy pepperoni. Chicken and jalapenos are also good occasional toppings. The best is Pizza Hut thin crust pepperoni lovers’ or cheese lovers’.

In response to WWJO, he was a good, practicing Jew, so he would have had something Kosher, which means he probably would not have had pizza, but if he did it would likely be with anchovies. 👍

IMHO, pizza ranks with watermelon, corn on the cob and chocolate as some of the perfect foods God has seen fit to provide us.

Bacon, mushrooms, onions 😛

Double cheese on Fridays

I have had and enjoyed the Hawaiian - pineapple and ham/bacon

kielbasa is another great topping, as is italian sausage and pepperoni (basically, you can’t go wrong with a pork product)

Stay away from anchovies.

sausage, peporoni, cheese, or all of those together

Qynne Callahan:rotfl:  :yup:

Broccoli! (no, I’m not kidding. Try it, you might love it!)

Buddy’s Pizza here in the Detroit area makes a deep-dish veggie pizza with onion, green pepper, mushroom, carrot, cauliflower, and broccoli. It’s so good.

“Garbage can” pizzas are also good: pepperoni, mushroom, sausage, green pepper, onion, black olive (from another local pizzeria).

I don’t like pineapple, anchovies, or extra cheese. Beyond that, anything goes.

When it comes to pizza i will eat anything bar anchovies-grose. We used to have this really good pizza bar around the corner from our house that used to do and Indian flavoured pizza with tandoori sauce, onion, big chunks of chicken breast topped with minted yoghurt it was the best.

We love pepperoni on our pizzas…(not on Friday’s of course… then it’s just cheese.) LOL!!! Does anyone else here only eat cheese pizzas to adhere to their friday meat fast??

Pizza with anything from my cousins backyard pizza oven in Sicily. Could anything be better then that? It’s wonderful -but even if it wasn’t the atmosphere makes it great. Any pizza in Italy, anytime!!

pizza has to be the world’s perfect food!

as for lactose intolerance, an idea is eat a little yoghurt with live bacteria culture… a thought, it works for me, Continental yoghurt jis good, it has three kinds of bacteria guys.
