Then what does “The Sacraments of Initiation can never be undone” mean?
OSAS?
- You cannot be “un-baptized” It leaves an indelible mark on your soul.
- You cannot be “un-confirmed” and have the Holy Spirit removed from you.
- You cannot “un-eat” the Holy Eucharist.

Those who claim to have the true interpretation of the Bible that do not have the authority of Jesus. Which HE breathed upon His 12 Apostles after His resurrection, CAN lead people to perdition, even using the Bible, because they twisted the meaning of the words to their own advantage.as also our most beloved brother Paul, according to the wisdom given to him, has written to you, 3:16 just as he also spoke in all of his epistles about these things. In these, there are certain things which are difficult to understand, which the unlearned and the unsteady distort, as they also do the other Scriptures, to their own destruction.
You are (normally) not going to be saved without them, but you may not be saved even with them. That is where we differ on the OSAS point of view. The sacraments of initiation are the beginning of a journey of Faith (hopefully) ending in Salvation, not the automatic entry onto Heaven.
- You cannot be un-baptised,un-confirmed, nor can you “un-eat” the Holy Eucharist, however you can still end up in hell.
Sorry if my post was a little cryptic as well. I was agreeing with you, and trying to respond to the OPYou are (normally) not going to be saved without them, but you may not be saved even with them.
I am guessing at the connection between the title and the question. It’s a little cryptic.
I think the OP meant that once we receive the sacraments of initiation, we are “saved,” and he has just found out that full Catholics don’t always make it to Heaven. So he was confused.Sorry if my post was a little cryptic as well. I was agreeing with you, and trying to respond to the OP
That’s what I was going to say.We believe in once saved, always saved. When you die, you will face judgement and after that point,** if your are saved, you cannot loose your salvation.**
