Where does it say Christ founded more than one Church? I don’t see anything in the Bible about two churches.
I think what he is saying is that Christ founded the church of all believers. I know what you are saying as well; that the Roman Catholic church is THE church of all true followers of Christ because of its teachings and doctrines and also its apostolic succession.

Therese, I’m sorry that you’re unable to behave like an adult. Until you grow up a little and are capable of having an intelligent conversation without all of the childish name calling and ignorant little digs, I’m going to have to put you on my ignore list.
I am so hurt

:crying:

your link could not be found for some reason.
I suppose they take them down after a while. It’s been a couple of weeks since he said it.
I am curious to know what it is as well.
Essentially, he says that non-Roman Catholics aren’t really Christians and that we don’t have the means of salvation.

I’ll try to find you another link tomorrow.

THAT WAS NOT YOUR CHARGE!

You said that Holy Father did not consider “you” christians…

Woah buddy. Backpedal all you want to, but you are lacking ANY credibility now.

Stop your unfounded accusations until you spend even minimally 3 minutes of internet research.

Come on.

I do not believe that non-Catholics are non-Christians and as well I do not believe that salvation will not be found outside of Roman Catholicism. That far I will go for certain.

Like I said, the pope has declared us not Christians. For the record, the link came from a Roman Catholic poster here on Catholic.com.

Not my fault the link didn’t work.

I don’t have a copy of the Catechism right in front of me, but it does state that the Roman Catholic church is the only institution where the sacrements are truly celebrated. I know my wording there isn’t exact. This statement in itself could lead some to believe that salvation could not be possible outside the Roman church. I could see this as a possible argument. Just a thought.

Then how do you explain this from the Catechism of the Catholic Church?
818 “However, one cannot charge with the sin of the separation those who at present are born into these communities [that resulted from such separation] and in them are brought up in the faith of Christ, and the Catholic Church accepts them with respect and affection as brothers … All who have been justified by faith in Baptism are incorporated into Christ; they therefore have a right to be called Christians, and with good reason are accepted as brothers in the Lord by the children of the Catholic Church.”[272]

In fact, it is your fault. You can not support your charge against Holy Father and you bear false witness against him.

I suggest, you find this so called “evidence” very soon.

This thread is getting enough attention that you will have no choice, even if I am not here to keep asking you to back up your charges.

You must either come up with the evidence, or retract your charge.

If you really rely on MSB for your religious education, then go to a forum that entertains such persons.

It is not here my friend.

I did say that unless you denied the Trinity I would be hard pressed to see your point,

you never said you did accept the Trinity I noted.

If you do, this is good news.

But, it leads to another question…

Why do you?
