Charges initiated against Pope for crimes against humanity

I wonder how these lawyers feel about the legalization abortion, the “actual” death of human beings.
 
These charges are ridiculous, but not past the level of people such as these. A worldwide religious persecution may begin against Christians soon, and I do not think that America is immune. Secular Atheists are incredibly militant, so they will probably soon try to raise their level of hostility against Christianity. This is a logical development from history. Atheists used to say religious people were wrong, but they allowed them their beliefs. Then the atheists became more aggressive and said no religion in the public sector. Now, it is no religion period with them. They tell us how to worhsip in our churches and how to bring up our children. Next, it is going to be use of force they will use for there evil agenda. May God have mercy!
 
Any fool can go to court with outrageous claims. The test of a court’s credibility is its ability to stop those fools from going forward. The U.S. Supreme Court, rightly, declines cases all the time that fail the common sense test. The International Criminal Court is a joke in poor taste and even it has not yet decided to prosecute.

Yet another grand standing lawyer (or two) with poisonous crayons.

Let me finish with this one:
Catholics “threatened by HIV-AIDS . . . if they do not protect themselves out of fear of the punishment of sin threatened by the church, they become candidates for death.”

What about RESPONSIBILITY? Because some believers refuse to live up to Church standards, does it deprive them of being responsible for their actions? (not to mention the studies that show that condoms do not lower the AIDS rates but abstinence does as in Uganda for example).

And a more philosophical point: I’ve never understood, even when I was an atheist, the concept of "some things (like contamination with HIV) are making us “a candidate for death”. Every human life is by definition bound to die someday. If you are alive, you are a candidate for death, aren’t you? I’m not sure if many posters will follow me on that one but I’ve always had a sense that my life on this earth has a beginning and an end. The stance of the Catholic Church on the use of condoms is not going to make me more mortal than I already am, is it?

If you read the propaganda carefully, you will understand that it is about promoting immoral sexual activity and about turning the Church into an entity that promotes evil and harmful living. One of the biggest myths being promoted today is that few, if any people can control themselves sexually.

I was born in the mid 1950s. The average number of kids in my Detroit neighborhood was two. There was no birth control pill.

Tsk, tsk: poor Germans still haven’t found out what does and does not constitute a crime against humanity. :rolleyes:

Regarding that condom charge, though, I honestly hope that our Holy Father is put on trial–or, optimally, his opinions are put on trial. It would be a great victory if the Catholic Church’s teachings on the efficacy of abstinence and the chaste life (especially regarding the AIDS epidemic) were finally vindicated.

This will get nowhere; this screams “frivolous lawsuit” all over it.
 
In a world rife with manifest evils in the forms of abortion, pornography, drug trafficking and its attendent violence, economic exploitation of the vulnerable, sexual slavery, natural resource plundering, population control and eugenics, etc.,etc,etc…it is nothing short of outrageous that the Roman Catholic Church, which embodies the precepts of “love of neighbor”, “forgiveness of one’s enemies”, and speaks to the power of “mercy, hope, faith…and love”, should be so slandered by the ver existence of this frivolous lawsuit, which represents a vile attempt to wound its head, the pontif.

We watch the Middle East, and we see passion in the faces of the people, whether you agree with their views, or not, it is evident that they are sincere in their beliefs. When will we, the Roman Catholic faithful, rise up en masse and respond to these clearly organized attacks on our church, our religion and our faith? These attacks are growing in frequency and intensity, and they appear supported by a seemingly complicit media. This is our church, and this rampant apostasy and blasphemy must not be allowed to harm us with impunity. We should not allow ourselves to be sanctioned and designated as the last permissable victims of calumny extant in the world today.

Well not quite. Sure you can leave the faithful practice and you can be excommunicated. But many believe they are still Catholic because the Church says they are.

Yeah and if you go to their website, which I did, you’ll be even more shocked! They believe in some really weird stuff. I was tempted to order some of their material just to find out more about this weird cult but I decided not to because I don’t want to put myself in a near occasion of sin (I might be tempted to believe some of their things or end up being deceived by some strange argument… my faith in the Catholic Church is strong but because of my Borderline Personality Disorder and other issues, I sometimes am tempted to join other religions.)

In my opinion, this cult called Universal Life is extremely dangerous spiritually. They have this “prophetess” who came up with all sorts of weird beliefs. If you go to the Creed link on their site you will find everything they believe in. I found much of it difficult to understand and they have a rather long “creed”. In this page they have two columns “What the Original Christians Believe” which has all of these false beliefs on things like reincarnation and such and they have another column called “What the Original Christians Do Not Believe” where it is basically filled with a ton of anti-Catholic material.

On another page in their site there is a large amount of “information” about how “evil” the Holy Father is and such. Lets just say that this cult is very spiritually dangerous and that they make use of a lot of false “information” and “facts” to try and lead people away from the Catholic Church. This cult is quite clearly a virulently anti-Catholic cult. Don’t go to that site unless you want to be offended. For that matter, I refuse to post a link to this site.

Finally, these people need a great deal of prayer. I hope that someone can witness to them and evangelize them through their way of life and especially through the dispelling of their “facts” and “information”, which is very much false “facts” and “information”.

Oh my Jesus, forgive us our sins, save us from the fires of Hell. Lead all souls into Heaven, especially those in most need of Thy mercy. Amen. :signofcross:

Thank you for those links. We should all pray for these noble bishops, who now are standing face-to-face with Satan, and his “death-cult” ambassadors. They are making a stand at a momernt in the battle which is critical : a space in time when unbending defiance is the only recourse. They vow to withstand the enemy to the very last.

This is the very same moment when the Western hierarchy buckled, weakened, and succumbed to the “Culture of Death”. And we now must mourn the fifty million silent victims of that failure. The “Murderer from the Beginning” was given legal sanction…and his killing spree has not since subsided. We complacently live in a culture that eradicates its own progeny…which makes us less than the beasts…and we look away.

The Bishops of the Philipines may, in fact, be pushed to the extreme act of martydom. If fifty million butchered unborn haven’t moved us to act decisively to this point, can anyone really expect that a few sacrificial Bishops slain at the alter of an unholy secular nihilism (Satanism), will inspire an effective response from those who claim Roman Catholicism as their religion? We are over a billion in number, yet it does not seem so, as we are in constant retreat.

The U.N., the billionaires with their egocentric foundations, the globalists and their many appendages, the eugenicists and their elite dogmas, and many more, are all powerful allies of the soon to appear, “Man of Sin”, and they are active in their onslaught against the poor of the Third World ], yet the very people to whom Jesus Christ, and the latter prophets, had prophesied to, look on, as what was revealed, happens before their own eyes, in their own times, and yet respond as if catatonic…impotent.

Pray for the Philippines. They are under seige.
