I didn’t want to mention Die Hard, but I am glad you did! My son is in the Marines, and they will be watching that and having beer, because it’s a Christmas movie. 😜
 
Watching “Miracle on 34th street”, and enjoying it immensely.
 
I always like to watch “While You Were Sleeping” (1995 - Sandra Bullock, Bill Pullman) around Christmas time. I think it’s actually very much a Christmas movie and one of the best romantic comedies ever. 🙂

I like most of the old Christmas classic movies, too.
 
“Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer” is definitely my favorite-I watch it and “Santa Claus is coming to town” every Christmas Eve.

I watch Holiday Inn every year. The Charlie Brown Christmas is still a favorite though I didn’t catch it this time around.

This was a favorite of mine as a kid. I’ve been frustrated for some years because it seems the one that’s usually re-run is a cut version that omits some of the songs, especially the one sung by Jessica, the future Mrs. Claus about “My world is beginning today”.
 
I think maybe somewhere they sell the disc for it-that is what I have

Hopefully you can find the full version!
 
Haven’t seen that one. But isn’t it a sign of our times that my first thought on seeing the title was, “stalker?”

The only time Linus ever lets go of his (man-made) security blanket is when he recites Luke.
 
Its a very good movie. You should see it. Not stalkerish, I promise, lol!
 
Can’t take credit, thanks. I never made the connection until I read it somewhere. Beautifully nuanced, though, eh? Modern film critics would probably be all over it.
