Just as those who oppose gay marriage are free to support businesses that agree with their position, those who are in favor of gay marriage are free to boycott businesses like Chick-fil-a.

Honestly, I don’t think these boycotts do much of anything but make the boycotters feel better. That’s fine of course, but the businesses in question still remain.

I do like the milkshakes at Chick-fil-a, wish they offered us Disney folks discounts on those puppies. The food isn’t worth the discount in my opinion. Publix chicken is MUCH better. 😃

Your looking at it all wrong. It means that the Disney Cast members that choose to take them up on their offer of yummy cheap food, are helping to support the cause of traditional marriage. 😛

That’s only half the equation. The gay cast members-some of whom are already married in states that legalized it-are getting food for half price which helps their budgets. It’s the anti gay marriage folks patronizing the location who are paying full price for the same food.

It’s just a funny situation with people on both sides of the issue helping each other out.

It gives the companies free publicity…can’t ask for anything better than that.🤷

A lot of folks on this Forum not eating wisely, it seems. I lost 42 lbs in the last 6 months on my way to losing 100, and a lot of it had to do with not eating what is best described as junk food such as that at Sbarro’s or Chickfila or McD’s etc. 🤷

Congrats on your weight loss!

I’ll still be havin’ my chicken sammich for lunch, though.

There’s nothing wrong with eating at Chic-Fil-A occasionally. I don’t think people are advocating it should be a steady diet or anything, but its great for a treat once in awhile.

Don’t really see how this pertains to the topic either.

Good for Chik-Fil-A for standing up for morality even when it isn’t popular or beneficial to business.

I have always enjoyed their food and appreciated that they close on Sunday.

I’m in line as I type got to support good causes and Strawberry milkshakes:thumbsup::cool:

I agree about fast food and weight gain. Luckily, I eat handlfuls of Fen Fen and Ephedra to balance it out and stay healthy.

Good for you, Rich! I mean that most sincerely. I think you’ve mentioned your weight loss in other threads, and I know how difficult it is to lose weight in this food-obsessed society of ours.

:clapping::clapping:

Their food is very very good and relatively healthy for fast food.

I guess they wont be catering any gay “weddings” now lol.
