You’re making the uncharitable assumption that supporting Chick-fil-A is all people are doing. They are doing the same things you do…and supporting Chick-fil-A.
No, Rich and Seeker don’t waste time at Chick Fil-A. They put their money where their mouth is, and in true Christ-like fashion, they complain on the Internet.

I’m sure somehow, that feeds a poor person, somewhere?

Ya, well apparently she ticked off alot of the other council members, because she spoke as if she was speaking for the board, which requires a unanimous vote to do.
Technically, she spoke like a board. The wooden kind, so that’s close, right?

Lol, she’s a real bright one…

*ā€œWe are a city that believes our diversity is our greatest strength and we will fight anything and anyone that runs counter to that.ā€

(Including diversity, lady…)
Translated, that means ā€œWe fought hard to get special treatment and will not tolerate anyone who suggests equality because we’re a protected class!ā€

Sure does. In my case, I put my money into Save A Family, a Canadian charity that helps poor Catholics in Kerala State, India, in several American programs to help feed poor Navaho elderly, and in CNEWA, a papal agency for humanitarian and pastoral support that serves the churches and peoples of the Middle East, northeast Africa, India and Eastern Europe.

They don’t have the money that multi-billion dollar Chick-Fil-A does, and so I think them more worthy of my support than a chicken sandwich restaurant. But, do put your discretionary funds wherever you choose to.

Taken from the Fox News article about Christine Quinn…
NYC is a place where we celebrate diversity.
But opposing opinions will NOT be tolerated.
We do not believe in denigrating others.
But we believe in evicting anyone who dares raise opposition.
We revel in the diversity of all our citizens and their families
Except for people we don’t like.
As such I urge you to sever your relationship with the Chick‐fil‐A establishment that exists on your campus
We are so tolerant that we want everyone we dislike thrown out !

šŸ‘ Welcome to CAF Bill.

We must fight diversity to have diversity!!😃

In New York City? For every 20 people, there are 21 opposing opinions.
But we believe in evicting anyone who dares raise opposition.
In New York City? Did you not read what Mayor Bloomberg said?
Except for people we don’t like.
Where did you hear that? New York City is undoubtedly the most diverse city in America.
We are so tolerant that we want everyone we dislike thrown out !
In New York City? Have you not ever been there? It’s tolerant to a fault.

I favor NPR to do it.
So far, they haven’t, but Fox has.

ā€œI believe what the Bible says (about marriage),ā€ Chauncy Fields told us after wolfing down a breakfast of chicken and biscuits. ā€œSo I came out here to support Chick-fil-A and the movement.ā€

Chris Johnson sees a double standard. ā€œHe (Dan Cathy) said the exact same thing that President Obama said,ā€ Johnson told Fox News – referring to the president’s past opposition to gay marriage – ā€œAnd he gets negativity, and Obama gets positivity.ā€

At one Atlanta location, the restaurant was packed,** while the line for the drive-thru looped twice around the building and out into the street.

Bolding mine.

Today is the day that support for Chick-Fil-A was supposed to be shown, so I’m not surprised at the crowds. If we see the same level of support tomorrow and on into the indefinite future, then not only will Cathy make a ton of money, but we’ll have a strong indication of support for trad-marriage.

Even California has strong support for Catholic definition of marriage

Nope. This alone proves there is strong support for traditional marriage.

The true sign will be how big the crowds will be (or not be šŸ˜‰ ) at the Gay Kiss-in.

Maybe not. Something like this may start strongly, then peter out. As supporters are tying shows of support to patronizing that restaurant, they may or may not want to maintain the momentum at the same level.

I disagree. Counter demonstrations don’t usually have the same strength as the motive for the original show of support, so it’s likely that, except in the larger cities, there will definitely be smaller crowds - if any.

There are, e.g. a few Chick-Fil-A restaurants in the Little Rock/North Little Rock metroplex, and I don’t see people getting particularly worked up - on either side.
