So the same day that the company has record breaking sales, they are saying that opinion of the company is down.

No, it makes sense, as was already explained by someone, the liberals were the ones who’s opinion of the company dropped, but they never bought anything there anyway, whereas, people like me, who never noticed the company, are now new customers. But who am I? Does one customer matter? It looks as though I’m not the only new customer. It appears to have the ones who are on the wrong road bent out of shape.

So opinion of people that they sample has gone down.

The sales figures show that the people they sample apparently do not count for much.

You got it, man. We didn’t need the survey for that. We got that here.

Well, buying chicken sandwiches doesn’t constitute either offensive rhetoric or hate. It’s just support for a company that people perceived to be unfairly attacked.
The CEO supports traditional marriage, but I highly doubt everyone, or even most of the employees feel the same way.

Either way, buying a chicken sandwich doesn’t constitute anything besides buying a chicken sandwich. Just like when I buy a pack of Oreos, it’s not because I support gay marriage, it’s because I enjoy eating Oreos.

So…all those people yesterday weren’t showing support. They were just buying chicken sandwiches.

THey just coincidently decided to stand in lines for 45 minutes to an hour to get a chicken sandwich on the same day because they had nothing better to do. Just a coincidence. DOesn’t mean anything.

Why would they need to muzzle him? This has been the biggest boon to them in a decade.

In other news, did you guys happen to see this wonderful example of humanity who castigated an employee in the drive through? The backlash was so severe he lost his CFO job. It makes me wonder how many people did not film their behavior.
Not exactly, it is a boon in a few select conservative locations, but it is disastrous in much of the country. No potential franchisee will take the risk of a loose cannon like Cathy on the deck. He will be kept below decks from now on. This is the usual pattern. Next Chik will be putting posters up in gay bars, just like Coors when it tried to contain the damage that Adolf did. It might be fun for the narcissistic entrepreneur to satisfy his ego in this way, but he failed to accept his responsibility to his franchisee’s and employees. They will suffer the consequences of his poor judgement. He should have kept his mouth shut.

Think for a moment, the risk one would take to put up a couple million for a franchise and a facility, and then to have Cathy speak out and destroy your investment.

And your reliable source is? Nowhere, on any news source, have I seen anything but the acknowledgement that Chik restaurants had massive turnouts.

I presume you would give the same advice to other corporate executives of companies who support gay marriage.

I know I would. Businessess should stick to business.

This is great, I’m talking to friends and they’re telling me that they or other friends are patronizing Chik-fil-A. My girlfriend and I are probably going Saturday.

Good thing Chick Fil A is based out of Georgia and the majority of it’s franchises are in the south and west. You are doing an awful lot of wishing and wistful thinking if you think this is going to affect them that much. BTW what business are you in?

I know when I want a piece of chicken, I make sure to go out of my way to the place with the longest lines. The wait is over an hour? Good. It’s 100+ degrees outside? Even better. This is what I do in my free time.

Perfect! As we say in Catholicville—Offer It Up! 🙂

**Why are people claiming Cathy went quiet? **Just like 2 days ago (AFTER his major comments) I saw him on a news show defending his views at a Chick-Fil-A, and I saw a picture at him at a Chick-Fil-A greeting customers.

I do not think he is being supressed, and the corporations statements did not contradict what he said (even if they added that they are not in the political sphere).

Everyone showing up in huge crowds certainly showed there are a lot more people who support traditional marriage than the media might portray.

However, it’s ridiculous to think buying a chicken sandwich is the same as donating money to a PAC or politician.
