even though Houston is a liberal city that, if we took a vote/count probably would approve of gay marriage.
Why don’t you test your hypothesis. I myself seriously doubt that Houston will be voting for homosexual “marriage” any time soon. Why don’t you organize a poll and you can prove you’re right. 🤷

Really? Ever spend time at Democratic Underground or read through the comments at Huffington Post? .
Or watched Lawrence O’Donnell’s “The Last Word?” Or NOW with Alex Wagner (hatred disguised by mockery and smugness?)

Or the Web sItes for USA Today or CNN? Christian bashing and especially Catholic bashing are perfectly acceptable activities on most media based web sites.

Being critical of another person is not hate. Much of the commentary here is good natured ribbing.
You are probably not reading the same posts I am. 🤷
At the end of the day, many of the people here who seem to detest each other end up praying for each other and would come to the rescue of the other, in spite of the apparent animosity.
Scott, I never considered you a Little Mary Sunshine until I read your remark. 😃

Now, if the claim is that Austin was a liberal city, it would be right on the mark.

Ya…don’t really watch anything on MSNBC. If I wanted smug sarcastic opinionated biased commentary…I’ll read my own posts. 😃

That would be what is known as a straw man. I have not heard a single person claim that buying a sandwich at Chick-fil-A yesterday was equivalent to donating money to a PAC or politician. 🤷
Don’t hold your breath waiting for a source to this remark because no one ever said it… Typical the leftie ploy. Think they know what’s in your head and then chastise you for it. They are so much more intelligent than us STOOPID uneducated people who cling to our guns and religion.

You oppose gay marriage, you do it because you are a homophobic, bigoted hater.

This is the most hateful site I have ever seen. All in the name of Jesus Christ.
Welcome, then.

Please. If you are going to make vague posts that have nothing to add to the discussion, just don’t bother at all; it clutters my screen.

How big were the anti crowds (and by anti, I mean anti free speech, as they are opposed to the owner speaking his conscience)?

That’s immaterial. When I was deeply involved in pro-life demonstrations and prayers in front of abortion clinics, we were never more than a dozen people (and more often no more than half a dozen) praying and trying to get the attention of the women entering those clinics so that we might talk to them about the terrible thing they were about to do. The pro-choicers could have mocked us for our small numbers, too.

The Martinsburg Chik fil a is just down the road from me…don’t ever underestimate how stupid people are in this area. :(. I miss VA.

This whole thing seems really… petty. Remember the Oreo controversy? When Oreo posted a picture of an Oreo with rainbow filling and tons of Christian groups freaked out? Yeah, then it was an attack on Christian values, and now suddenly Chick-fil-a’s stance is “free speech”. Huh, ironic, isn’t it?

Regardless of what you kind people think about my marriage, as a gay atheist, I have no obligation to follow your version of morality as dictated by the “Holy” Bible (just as you don’t follow the Qu’ran like those in the Islamic faith.) I’m still going to move on with my life, marry a man, and grow a family (either through adoption or surrogacy). Enjoy your chicken, I’m busy planning my future.

I’ve checked every large supermarket chain here and not one is selling homosexual Oreos, even in the neighborhood with a larger % of gays. 🤷

You won’t be marrying a man but New Jersey does allow a same-sex union.

homosexual Oreos
LOL. Are the mint-filled ones choosing to pair up, and the vanilla-filled ones coupling as well? Maybe they’re being packaged in two’s now. 😉

Sorry, I couldn’t resist. My over-active visual imagination I guess.
