This whole thing seems really… petty. Remember the Oreo controversy? When Oreo posted a picture of an Oreo with rainbow filling and tons of Christian groups freaked out? Yeah, then it was an attack on Christian values, and now suddenly Chick-fil-a’s stance is “free speech”. Huh, ironic, isn’t it?
The difference is that nobody vandalized Kraft or threatened them with violence. Not to mention the fact that the news media has completely distorted Cathy’s statement by portraying him Anti-gay for supporting traditional marriage. Shame Shame Shame!":

Regardless of what you kind people think about my marriage, as a gay atheist, I have no obligation to follow your version of morality as dictated by the “Holy” Bible (just as you don’t follow the Qu’ran like those in the Islamic faith.) I’m still going to move on with my life, marry a man, and grow a family (either through adoption or surrogacy). Enjoy your chicken, I’m busy planning my future.
God bless you, Arkeaus. I’m glad you aren’t full of hate and support the free exercise of the 1st Amendment on both sides. I do hope you dig deeper and consider God’s plan for your life, but I wish you well. I hope you have some chicken, as well, because man can not live on Oreos alone. 🙂

I’ve checked every large supermarket chain here and not one is selling homosexual Oreos, even in the neighborhood with a larger % of gays. 🤷
How can you tell if an Oreo is homosexual? :hmmm:

Were they made that way, or did they become homosexual by forced confinement. Perhaps, it is like prison “homosexuality.” 😛

LOL. Are the mint-filled ones choosing to pair up, and the vanilla-filled ones coupling as well? Maybe they’re being packaged in two’s now. 😉

Sorry, I couldn’t resist. My over-active visual imagination I guess.
I thinks it’s safe to say most people, who objected to the oreo gay-pride advertisement on facebook, were aware that Kraft was not going to produce rainbow colored oreos.

Of course there are no homosexual Oreos. Everyone knows they are all attracted to milk. 😛

Prediction - even though main stream media barely covered the August 1st crowds, all it will take it one protester today kissing at a Chick-Fil-A to be covered by all the main stream media outlets.

What??? Have you been out of the country lately? Barely covered? Not hereabouts!

The controversy is all over the place. The misdirection about what was actually said is all over the place. For most of the day yesterday, CNN, MSNBC, etc. didn’t say anything at all about it. When they finally did, they usually put the extremely small number of protesters up with equal billing as the extremely large number of PEACEFULLY eating there.

Very similar to pro-life marches on DC. There can be hundreds of thousands of people marching and only a dozen protesters and the only people that are covered are the protesters.

MSNBC is already covering the counter-protest before it starts “Pro-gay marriage groups plan Chick-fil-A ‘Kiss-In’” as a MAJOR headline. Perfectly show the extreme bias of MSM.

Illinois LGBT Group Files Multiple Human Rights Compaints Against Chick-fil-A
The Civil Rights Agenda (TCRA), Illinois’ largest lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) civil rights advocacy organization, working with cooperating attorneys and on behalf of claimants, filed multiple complaints against Chick-fil-A with The Illinois Department of Human Rights. Among other things, the complaints allege that Chick-fil-A’s “intolerant corporate culture” violates Illinois law, specifically Section 5-102(B) of the Human Rights Act, which prohibits a “public accommodation” from making protected classes “unwelcome, objectionable or unacceptable.”
“In our current high speed media and social media environment, Chick-fil-A has announced and caused to be published, to hundreds of millions of people, that LGBT people are unacceptable and objectionable,” said Jacob Meister, Governing Board President of The Civil Rights Agenda and the attorney who filed the complaint. “They have made it clear the lives of LGBT individuals are unacceptable to them and that same-gender families are unwelcome at Chick-fil-A.”
The names of the complainants are being kept confidential. “Given the extent of media coverage this issue has received, the current complainants have requested that their name be withheld from the media,” stated Anthony Martinez, Executive Director of The Civil Rights Agenda. “The complainants are a same-gender family with a daughter. Chick-fil-A used to be one of their favorite places to eat until Mr. Cathy’s latest statements were reported so widely. Now, they feel completely unwelcome in the establishment.”
The Civil Rights Agenda began working with Alderman Joe Moreno and Chick-fil-A in February. Aware of Chick-fil-A’s reputation of homophobia and discrimination, Alderman Joe Moreno contacted The Civil Rights Agenda to examine their corporate policies. TCRA made recommendations in order to bring Chick-fil-A’s corporate policies in-line with the Illinois Human Rights Act. The suggestions included: an LGBT-inclusive non-discrimination policy, diversity and cultural competency training, parity in employee benefits that included benefits for couples in civil unions and domestic partnerships, appropriate and respectful advertising in the LGBT community and transgender inclusive health benefits.
