They’re a bit over the top, me thinks. When Mother Teresa came to LR some decades ago to help dedicate a convent for them, she insisted that the A/C be taken out before the nuns would move in. I lost a lot of respect for her that day. Didn’t she trust her nuns not to turn it on? Couldn’t an electrician just disconnect the wiring if she didn’t trust them?![]()
Perhaps, rather than assume Mother had trust issues, you could assume she wanted to make the sisters’ sacrifice easier by removing the temptation. I’m sorry you lost respect for her…it’s your loss.
