You presume that she was perfect. I think she was not.
I wont answer your other uncharitable comments about her, but I’ve never claimed nor presumed Mother Teresa was perfect - more assumption on your part.

I won’t be PMing you, or reading any more of your posts for that matter. There is nothing positive to be gained from them.

No lack of charity when one is speaking the truth. How would you soften those facts? Or are you presuming that what I’ve said is false? It is not.

If we can’t read the posts of those we don’t agree with and gain some insight from them, more’s the pity. I am aware that I am on the Ignore list of some posters here, but I never presumed that from you. No emoticons. I meant that last sentence.

The basic fundamental tenet of logic is that if you are making a claim, the burden of proof is on you, not the person you are making the claim against. Maybe someone needs to tell Hairy Reid over in the Senate. 🤷
I think many people are of the mind: “If I don’t see it, then it does not exist”. And of course they don’t see Christians volunteering at the homeless shelter because they are not there volunteering.

Sure, but whom do they think is volunteering at those shelters? I notice that most tend to be Evangelicals around here, with a sprinkling of Protestants and Catholics.

That is a very good point.

I am not sure that they give that much thought. When you want to criticize someone, the criticism are not always the most consistent or thought out. If you are spending money at CfA, you could be giving it to the poor in Africa. Whether you already give, or how much you give is not something that they give thought to.

The Chick fil a Day was a national campaign, and it was a one-off. Its over and done with now, and everyone is patting themselves on the back. It was more political theater than anything. and really was just for show.
So why’d I eat there today…🤷

Mother Teresa opened an orphanage and a home for lepers, who received medical attention. The Lancet and the British Medical Journal, however, both criticized the quality of medical care she made available, reporting reused syringes, poor living conditions, and cold baths for all patients. Patients who might otherwise have survived died of infection and other easily diagnosable diseases because of the slipshod practices at her hospices. Mother Teresa herself did not believe in pain relief: she felt that suffering would bring people closer to Jesus. 🤷
You basically just plagiarized these words directly from this website.

What was your point again…?

You take a phrase from what is posted and google it.
If it’s original it will lead you back to post that you copied it from. If its plagiarized as in this case Google leads you to the “real” original.

Does Yahoo work the same way? I will not use Google.

Cutting and pasting is not plagiarism unless the poster is passing off the passage as his own work.🤷

But you did. It appeared in a post with your name on top, with no “quote box” or link or citation to the site you stole it from. You explicitly claimed it as your own with the closing line: “This is off topic and the last I shall say about this.”
