So why are you not a believer?
I am not sure why I am not. I have investigated the Gospel message through the eyes of the catholic church for what seems to be a long time, but if you note when I joined- it was not a long time at all. This has not been an easy thing, that could be why it feels as if it has been a very long time I have gone on this journey.
The bible has told us many things, but the one that particularly bothers me is that God claims we all Know Him through his creation.
This, is how I don’t “know” him.
Firstly.
I do try to follow what the bible says will lead me to Him.
Knocked, I have sought. I am being patient.
I have never wished that God was not, nor have I wished a God to be.
I have a priest I talk to about questions on matters of faith, and he is a very solid and orthodox priest.
I love going to Mass and I do attend Divine Liturgy as well.
I have your bibles, your CCC, several good catholic books, things that I cherish I won’t discuss yet,
And yet, I can’t believe yet. Some schools of thought would say I was born to be damned. Some say there is still time. Others say, at least you are still asking, looking, pondering.
I just wish I knew when the point is/should be/ ought to be
where you could just know if you really did seek enough.
