How did you figure this out? 😃 Aren’t you one of them?
Are you saying that all non-Catholic Christians are Calvinists? Remember, I’m just poor old underdog… I just follow Jesus Christ. He is my only Master.

Your response on that one post sounded like you are evolving into a Calvinist. If you are predestined to be one, so be it. I will still talk to you.
Good.

Basically, I cannot be a Calvinist because I do not accept T.U.L.I.P. as being correct.

Besides, my most clearly acknowledges true free will, not an illusion of it.

I know what the Calvinist would say to that. If God gave us free will, why did you choose Christ and many others do not? Why did you do the right thing by choosing Jesus, and those who rejected Christ did the wrong thing. Will you be in Heaven on the basis of you doing the right thing, and most will be in Hell because they did the wrong thing?

Let’s just look at the last line: will people be in hell for doing the wrong thing?

Yes.

There are only two acts that I can control to get to heaven. I must avoid sin (repenting when I do so) and I must cooperate with the Grace given to me. Even then, those things are because of God’s love.

I cannot work my way into heaven. I can work my way into hell.

Okay, now I see you are not a Calvinist but rather a Catholic. What happens when you do not cooperate with the grace given to you? All Christians fight against God in times in their lives, right? What does God do with the legtimate children of God when we try to resist His transforming work in us?

We can use his grace offered to us through prayer, community, and most importantly the sacraments.

When we fall, we must repent.

We are either moving closer to God or further away throughout our lives.

Jesus designed the Church to keep us moving in the right direction.

Is it the church who is moving you in the right direction, or is it God Himself who is moving you in the right direction?

It is God through his Church.

Why are you so anti-Church? Do you think that CHristians should worship on their own?
