Did you actually watch that video? It seems not.Yet the throat is on the same height as the shoulders, which do get touched:
youtube.com/watch?v=elEanV8RP1w
But I strongly suggest that you do watch it and perhaps increase your knowledge of what the Sign of the Cross is all about so will not be spreading your error.
Nowhere has it ever been taught we touch the throat and it is not shown in that video either.
The point of the Sign of the Cross is not about touching chakras but a proclamation of the Sign of our Salvation. And this you would have found out if you actually paid attention to what the video is teaching.
As a matter of fact, it does not even touch the heart except when we do the three little crosses before the gospel which I explained earlier.
And the very much wider point is that Christianity does not teach that anywhere in its doctrines. The wider point is that the chakras represent the locations within the body of divine emotions (bliss, love, ecstacy)
This is an understanding of the human being that was prior to Christianity. Of the old religions the only one compatible with Christianity is Judaism because it is the religion that Christianity fulfills.
And pray tell where in Scripture or Church doctrine does it say that the chakras are opened when a person experiences the grace of God? This conception is COMPLETELY ALIEN to the Judeo-Christian understanding of man.of the three Divine Persons (Father, Son, Holy Spirit) which a person experiences when by the grace of God, the chakras are opened.
Also, nowhere will you find in Christian teaching that the Father, Son and Holy spirit correspond to divine emotions of bliss, love, ecstasy. Divine Love is not an emotion but what the Trinity IS.
Your understanding is so totally up the creek because you are attempting to syncretize the two incompatible religions.
You are Catholic so I would suggest that you immerse yourself in learning about your religion than following heretical teachings.
