Who got your vote, still waiting to hear…
I voted for Hillary Clinton. I voted for Barack Obama twice. I voted for John Kerry. I voted for Bill Clinton, Walter Mondale, and Jimmy Carter.
I would have voted for John Kasich in 2016 if he got further in the election.

That’s exactly what thought! Nuff said!

  1. “A Catholic who rejects a candidate’s unacceptable position [on abortion] may decide to vote for that candidate for other morally grave reasons.” (#35)
Is this clear enough to understand?

I think it is you who doesn’t understand prudential judgement. Clearly,Trump was the better choice not only because of his prolife stance, which glaringly contradicted HC pro death statements.insomuch as she was behind a woman yet inTing her pregnancy in the finl weeks. Also in n re to individual freedoms ie : religion, school choice, the inherent right for each citizen to choose their path re their God given right to life liberty and the pursuit of happiness.just to name a few.

What would Jesus say?
There were many other republican presidential candidates who are upstanding citizens. This article about Christians who voted for Trump says it all for me. Jesus wept: How can you call yourself a Christian if you voted for Donald Trump?

My mother was a young girl in France when the Nazis took over. Many people did nothing to fight against them. But many people joined the resistance, my grandfather one of them.

Catholics amoung many others in the US are resisting Trump because he does not represent the Christian ideal.
Salon? No thanks!

I think no matter who does it, the other side will have a hissy fit. There is nothing better than catching your opponent in an act of hypocrisy.
People tend to be more tolerant of faults in people that they feel are closer to representing their views or positions while being more critical of those that they think are further away. Making an assessment of someone while filtering out this bias takes effort and is probably more easily done when the identity of the person whose actions are being evaluated is unknown.

I am responsible for my own conscience. I trust in God alone to know my heart. I go to confession, have been counceled by my parish priest regarding voting.

You are responsible for your conscience.

As for Trump, he has:
Raised housing payments for new home buyers by about $500 in 2017.
Attacked the Department of Labor’s fiduciary rule, which would have required retirement advisers to act in their clients’ best financial interest.
Delayed court proceedings on the Obama administration’s expansion of overtime, failing to defend the pro-w
orker rule.
Delayed enforcement of a rule to reduce workers’ exposure to deadly silica dust for three months.
Repealed the Fair Pay and Safe Workplaces Executive Order, which ensured that federal contractors complied with worker protection laws before receiving government contracts.

No. Why vote for that candidate for more morally grave reasons than abortion?
What am I missing?

Tried to cut his own taxes by millions of dollars while taking health insurance from tens of millions of Americans
Assembled a team of wealthy financial industry elites to advise him on tax reform, which he promised would benefit the middle class.
Made it harder for veterans to find jobs with a federal hiring freeze
Proposed budget cuts that would devastate rural America.
Proposed dramatically slashing job training programs and worker wage and safety enforcement.
Reneged on his promise to disclose his tax returns.
Proposed $6.7 billion cut to housing and community support programs.
Attacked neutral budget analysts so that lawmakers ignore negative effects from their policies

How did he do all of this? Do you have links to these news stories for each of these
claims. How did he raise house payments $500 for new home buyers? What is
the source for your facts?

Gee where did you get those " facts" more from Salon.
Even If andcI say if these were factual,Trump would still be the better choice every which way of Sunday. Why do you think he beat out the anointed one HC? She was such a flawed candidate anybody would have been a better option.

It’s all in the tweets.

I suggest listening to the words out of his own mouth, just google and you’ll find them. Look at how he behaved with the other world leaders in Europe. If you think he’s acceptable good for you.He is not educated, experienced enough, or qualified to be president.

Botched Yemen raid:
politifact.com/truth-o-meter/article/2017/mar/01/what-donald-trump-left-out-about-successful-yemen-/

Not only has his whole presidency been about creating chaos in America, he has incited violence, boasted about the most prurient sexual misconduct ( and yes, Bill Clinton was just a bad), has escalated racial injustice and violence since his inauguration, alienated us from our allies, and on and on.
He has shown the world that he is not educated, experienced enough, or qualified to be president.

You just keep telling yourself this. The fact that you get your talking points from the likes of Salon is in and of itself very telling.

Well, I can see that we’re not getting anywhere.
The point is that God loves us all, and America should be inclusive for all Americans. I will sign off here, and keep you in my prayers. May God Bless you.

Help America. Pray the Rosary.

Joyful Song,

You did well! Kept your cool and preached the gospel. Now you can say…

*I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. -2 Timothy 4:7 *

this is part of the farce that the paris executive order is. carbon offsets??? you expect me to believe the world is in dire straits and yet you can fly a private plane if you plant some trees somewhere.

did anyone really expect hillary to keep her word about this? especially since she made the pledge because she got caught flying a private jet after giving a global warming speech? typical liberal left hypocrite. what difference does it make now?
Well, if you can’t find anything good to say about your candidate, please feel free to attack someone who’s been out of the picture for several months now.

I would have voted for John Kasich in 2016 if he got further in the election.
so how do you reconcile hillary’s stand on these issues:

pro abortion
pro gay marriage
pro lgbtq… agenda to destroy christian morality
pro war
race baiting agenda
pro islam anti-christian policies
irs targeting the conservatives
clinton’s state departments pay her foundation to play
not using the foundation money for the reasons collected
etc

i can understand a person not voting for trump but the same objections should have prevented them from voting for hillary.
