*Those of us familiar with Catholic prophecy concerning the Chastisement of God (which we are now in and will likely soon conclude) will result in the fall of Europe to Muslim and Marxist powers in an upheaval of anarchy. This may very well be payback for Euro-American subversion in the Arab world. We also know that Russia is involved in this somehow, and it would appear the United States is strangely silent, as if we are unable to do anything. We know this results in the fall of the Vatican in Rome, the assassination of our pope, and the rise of a new pope in exile who will crown a new French king that will eventually reestablish the Holy Roman Empire. We also know that nothing short of a direct intervention from God, a disaster of epic proportions and unrivaled in all of recorded history, will be the decisive blow to the powers of evil in this age. Before that happens however, the Church in Europe will be decimated, and European Christians will face the threshold of extinction. Exactly when and how this will all unfold is not known to us at this time, but with each passing month the emerging picture becomes a little more clear. *

These teachings are not dogma, but many have been declared worthy and permissible for Catholics to believe. The scenario has been cobbled together from details from many thousands of private prophecies that have been received (many by Catholic clergymen and nuns who would go on to be declared Saints, Venerable, or Blessed) over many centuries in countries scattered far and wide.

There’s a lot of disagreement on the details, but enough have been examined and declared internally consistent and worthy of belief by the Magisterium that many Catholics believe in something generally like it.

Potentially adding to Gadhafis’ woes is an unconfirmed report from an official in the Libyan U.N. mission that one of Gadhafi’s son’s, Khamis Gadhafi, perished Monday. The official told ABC News that Khamis, who according to leaked State Department documents was the head of an elite military unit charged with protecting the regime, died from severe burns after being injured in a kamikaze attack by a disaffected Libyan pilot on the central command and control headquarters of the Gadhafi family.

President Obama isn’t violating the Constitution unless he declares war against Libya without congressional approval.

Oh. So it is not a war when one country goes in and bombs another country destroying their facilities and killing people?

The Pentagon says that of Tuesday, the US military had flown 212 aerial missions over Libya, while 124 had been flown by other coalition forces. A total of 108 air strikes had been carried out and 162 Tomahawk missiles had been fired, it adds.

Coalition forces have launched fresh air strikes near Misurata, a rebel-held town east of Tripoli, according to witnesses, even as pro-Gaddafi snipers continued to target residents in the town.

The town has been under siege for weeks by forces loyal to Colonel Muammer Gaddafi, with heavy casualties being reported, including four children who were said to have been killed while trying to escape from the city on Tuesday.

International forces are reported to have targeted a base south of Misurata used by pro-Gaddafi forces.

“The allied planes bombed twice so far,” one resident told Reuters by telephone. “At 12:45 [22:45 GMT Tuesday] this morning and then again less than two hours ago… They [pro-Gaddafi forces] haven’t fired a single artillery [round] since the air strike.”

Canada has carried out its first bombing raids over Libya, AP reports. In the attack near the besieged city of Misrata, four CF-18 jets, supported by two refuelling aircraft, carried out two separate bombing runs, said deputy chief of air force staff Maj Gen Tom Lawson. The Canadian planes dropped four laser-guided bombs near the besieged city of Misrata on Tuesday night and Wednesday morning.
