I bought the fill your own adapter, one for single cups and the larger one for a full pot.
I have a Keurig but haven’t yet used it. Where do you get those adapters?
I found mine at our grocery store. I have also seen them at Bed Bath and Beyond and online ordering. The single cup one is fussy sometimes. I have to inset, rotate, insert again…a few times before it accepts it as a legitimate Keurig cup. The larger one for a pot is almost always accepted.

Hot coffee on a hot summer day!

I drink it sitting right in front of a fan. I’m the Fan Man.

Thank you for taking my hypoglycemia into account, but, once again, I have to point out that I am allergic to cinnamon.

Those are chocolate chip cookies! Why on earth would I ruin them with cinnamon?! Eat up!

I’m back to grinding my beans again. I had gotten lazy and had been buying already ground…until the store ran out! Two weeks later, I go to buy my blend again and no ground…but beans! I forgot how much better fresh ground tastes…and just the act of grinding them makes the kitchen smell so good!

what ratio of coffee to water do you use to make your coffee?

do you change it for different brands, blends?

its gonna be one ofthose days

My mom had a percolator too. She only used it for company.
Well, that is a good way to keep them from returning!

A percolator is the second worst way known to man, behind only dumping it on a pot of boiling water . . .

(and I don’t say that because one put me in the hospital . . .)

Drip pots are a good way (but few actually heat water near the ideal 200F). The best is either a vacuum pot or a French press, depends upon the particular variety (with the other being #2).

One of my coworkers has a French press. I found a Mr. Coffee at my mom’s house still in the original box.

Usually I only drink coffee when I’m going out to eat. However, at work we have a Keurig K-cup machine so once in a while I’ll have a cup of coffee from the Keurig. Idk why but the Keurig makes a strong cup of coffee. I have to put raw sugar as well as half & half in order to make it palatable.

Okay, it’s 90 something degrees here today. I am not going to not drink coffee because that. :coffee:

I doubt that Beryllos. I’ve known you a long time.
You’re like an ice coffee with a hint of spice.
Lol…

Me, too. Except I like my coffee strong (like so strong the spoon will stand up by itself). I do use a few drops of French Vanilla creamer for a little flavor, though.
