Happy Birthday @adamhovey1988. Virtual pot of coffee coming your way. :coffee:🎂

Happy Birthday, Adam. Ad multos annos! Mnohaya i blahaya lita! Many and blessed years!

You know, if my dad were still alive he would be 68. Wow, my dad would be 68. I’m trying to wrap my head around that fact. I was actually supposed to be born on his birthday, but was born LATE, if you can believe that. My mother actually had to tell the doctors, “get this kid out of me”!

My dad would’ve been 94 in May. We lost the last of his siblings in 2018 at 93. It’s tough to think that entire generation of my family is gone.

My Grandma’s family is like that. Her and all her siblings are gone. Oddly, some of her uncles, of all people, are still alive. One of which is a Baptist preacher in Alabama. He is like in his 90s, but I am not sure how far into them. My older sister (also Catholic like me) visits him sometimes. They get along well, but I have never met him. I have no idea whether or not he likes coffee.

I used to have severe headaches, whilst they have never completely went away, caffeine does help with them and they are less severe.
If you have severe headaches, see a doctor. That’s not normal, especially if it persists.

I drink Folger’s medium daily BUT my favorite is Jamaica Blue Mountain, especially an espresso with it. That may actually be an equivalent to prescribed shot of adrenaline.

I will treat myself to coffee occasionally, but I’m mainly a tea person. Earl Grey is my favorite, like Captain Picard.

Forgot to mention that sometimes I use agave stuff in my coffee. Rare, but it happens from time to time when my wife leaves the agave stuff by the ninja maker I use for coffee vs her keurig singles…
And THAT reminds me, those doggone ninja coffee machines will brew a pot very very quickly.
