Since when did we excuse such bullying?
  1. I found the first part of the abortion comments contemptible, but the second part a pertinent rebuke. Another poster, made a point that she talked of the baby not the fetus and it set me to wondering just what point she was really making and who it was aimed at.
  2. The last comment on Pence was a set-up for a comment about all of the harassment that is coming to light.
Mike Pence is a weirdo, though. He’s a weird little guy. He won’t meet with other women without his wife present. When people first heard this, they were like, “That’s crazy.” But now, in this current climate, they’re like, “That’s a good witness.”

So my dad was a weirdo too?

He was raised in a small farm community and you didn’t enter a woman’s home if she was alone and you were visiting. He also didn’t think my nieces should let any boys in the house after school, when mom wasn’t home to supervise.

It may be generational, but it’s just a different code of conduct. One pre-sexual revolution.

On a Catholic message board, every response should be the same - his mockery is out of place, even if it were not directed to his disability per se.
Huh? Trump gets mocked on here all the time and I have never seen you protest it.

Its generational and cultural. Partially related, but there are some places where you might find someone that finds it offensive if you hold doors open for the opposite sex. In other places it’s considered a nice gesture.

Not just generational. I will not meet with a woman alone in my office unless:
a. She is over age 70. or
b. The interior hallway door is open so female staff members can hear every word.
Don’t want to be the innocent victim of a “me too” grinder.

By generational, it was prominent in an earlier generation.
I think for the same reasons you cited.

But if that is his usual movement when responding to silly questions from reporters, and he didn’t know the reporter was disabled, then did he mock a disabled reporter with full knowledge???

Yes, you’ve made that argument before. But we were talking about triggering an investigation, which this sort of actions would normally trigger an investigation.
It’s not “an argument”. It’s just a fact. Interesting though that no law enforcement agency “triggered” any investigation. It was all political. It didn’t happen until Comey was fired. Comey somehow knew Rosenstein would appoint a special prosecutor if Comey was fired, even though Rosenstein wrote a “fire Comey NOW” letter to Trump.

Trump fell into the trap, Rosenstein appointed Mueller. Mueller hired Trump’s enemies to go after him on the taxpayer’s dime and that’s where we are.

Like when trump smeared Mika, making a disgusting remark about blood running down her face after plastic surgery? Is that acceptable behavior in your eyes for our “president”? hit back at any cost as long as you come out on top as the main thug?

That is what his people love. That is why they voted for him and defend him at all costs.

Well, fortunately the majority of the country is on to him and it’s not sustainable. We won’t sit by and allow such as this to occupy the oval office.
What other president has talked publicly about fellow citizens and colleagues calling them: low class slob, terrible, angry obnoxious, pathetic, truly weird, spoiled brat, lightweight, phony, dummy, clown going out of his way to smear people instead of acting as president and performing his duties.

Oh, that’s right Forbes is probably also the bastion of “fake news” too, right Trumpians?

I didn’t hear him say it. I heard others talk about him saying it. I thought it was extremely rude and vulgar even for someone as vicious as Mike is toward him. But just now I read your article and it says this:

"He also accused “low I.Q. Crazy Mika” and “Psycho Joe” of “insisting on joining me” at Mar-a-Lago over three days at New Year’s Eve.

“She was bleeding badly from a face-lift. I said no!” he added.

I don’t know if the BBC account is accurate or not, but as I understand this, Scarborough and Bzerzinski invited themselves to Mar-a-Lago for New Years Eve. Bzerzinski was, however, bleeding from a face lift and Trump declined the self-invitation.

I think if someone invited herself to my house and was bleeding from cuts on her face, I would disinvite her too. Somebody in that condition ought not to be partying at all, and certainly not in my house.

Again, there is so much fakery in news that I don’t much believe anything anymore. But if the BBC account is correct, I have changed my mind about what Trump said. He did the right thing. I do think he could have been more discreet about the reason. But if she showed up to party like that, he was right to send her home.

But if that is his usual movement when responding to silly questions from reporters, and he didn’t know the reporter was disabled, then did he mock a disabled reporter with full knowledge???
Trump just isn’t part of the ‘cool crowd’ so they will find some way to mock him.

But we are talking about how terrible a comedian is.

Her jokes were crass. But she’s just a comedian. He’s the US president.
