A lot of humor has an unkind element to it. But there’s a fine line that sometimes gets crossed. To some, out-and-out cruelty is funny, and they become calloused to it.

I realize Dems say this, but I remember when Sarah Palin chose to have her Downs baby. I don’t recall any Repubs criticizing her or making fun of her for that. I do remember Dems condemning her for it.

A little earlier this year, I qualified for a tax credit against my state income taxes by contributing to an unwed mothers’ home run by Catholic Charities of Southern Missouri. Why does that credit exist? Because the Republican legislature in my state thought it worthwhile to provide abortion alternatives, and put its money where its mouth is. CCSMO operates the home for mothers “at risk” of abortion; provides room and board, substance rehab, education, psych, medical care, job training and job placement. It just began plans for another home.

Where were the Dems when they had power in the legislature? AWOL of course. Happy to pay for abortions, they wouldn’t lift a finger to prevent them.

I remember questions about the circumstances of his birth, but not that she had the baby.
A quick google didn’t reveal anything either. I assume that yo fact checked before posting this - please share.

The claim, by RR, was that ™Dems questioned - actually condemined - her having the baby, having established that the baby would have Down’s syndrome. I would him to support this claim.

This is absurd.

Blue states may offer “comprehensive” healthcare benefits that include abortion services, but they also offer far more social services to poor and single parent families than most Red states. That’s why the abortion rate declined in Blue states at the same rate as they did in Red states during the same period when Red states were passing coercive anti-abortion restrictions and Blue states were expanding access to healthcare, contraception and sex education.

Widen your horizons and the bigger picture will emerge.

That is ironic considering Wolf has been criticised for negatively commenting on Huckabee-Sanders’ appearance.

Does an article from The Blaze criticising some random leftist blog attacking Sarah Palin count as “Dems condeming her for having the baby”?

Seems to me like RR is painting with a broad brush in order to spread malicious gossip. Didn’t Pope Francis say that was a no no?
