By George I think she’s got it.
Trump is a CYBER BULLY.
Trump is a CYBER BULLY.
Another word I have google. Yall need to stop that. Why are we reduced, as though it were eculpatory, to this: he mocked the reported, but at least he did not mock his disability?
Have you not considered that Trump is Worse?Face it, some people are here for only one purpose. A large majority of news topics devolve into Trumpisworse.
I know. right? as the saying goes.I didn’t think the comedian was the funniest I’ve ever seen, but I laughed out loud. “Mike Pence is what happens if Anderson Cooper were straight” had be dying, and “Mika Brzezinski and Joe Scarborough are engaged…it’s like when a #MeToo works out” made me spit out my drink.
I wonder how she sleeps at night or faces her children at the end of the day and tells them not to lie.I think the media is way over exaggerating the treatment Sanders got. Let’s be honest, the woman does lie quite a lot from her podium
Yep, she keeps a grand applaud for showing up…unlike Trump…coward.I think she could’ve been a better sport judging by her facial reactions to the jokes, but at least she showed up.
And the Trump Defenders want to know why?You are not alone. I was sitting listening to conversations in Twisted Taco in Fayetteville GA a few weeks ago; an open carry restaurant in a primarily red area that as it’s name suggests serves great tacos! There was a grandmother that was complaining to a friend about how her grand son asked her what a porn star was. She said she wants to be supportive of the president, but wishes that he would clean up his act and his language or at least learn to shut up. She was also going to try to keep her grand child from the news in the hopes of avoiding future incidents like that.
Trump demonizes himself. He needs no help from the Liberals.find the opposite, the liberal efforts to demonize Trump the person rather than discuss policy is what is degrading norms of behavior.
Say it ain’t so.They can’t use that. I think it has already been used for the new Presidential Seal.
I think it shows a lack of respect for free speech.Eh. I think it shows that he lacks a sense of humor about himself.
How so? Did he attempt to shut down the dinner?I think it shows a lack of respect for free speech.
What is the purpose of the Dinner? How so? Did he attempt to shut down the dinner?
" What on earth are you talking about? ". “What is that all about?” - these are two questions from 2 seperate posts. Are you in over your head and can’t follow along is what I am wondering. It all seems pretty clear to me!Theo520:![]()
How silly. It has been a roast. Jokes have for years been zingers.“Based on what Americans witnessed on national television at Saturday night’s dinner, a once-fine evening celebrating the strong, free press the WHCA speaks of has turned into an angry display and ad-hominem attacks.”
This year was far cruder than anything I remember, and may have had more content, but the idea of “angry”? What is that all about?
President Trump is his own man. He hasn’t got to where he is by letting people walk over him like G. W. Bush. Finally, someone who is fighting back against the swampTheo520:![]()

I like to ask posters what they are talking about, rather than engaging in the fascinating habit that some have for mind reading." What on earth are you talking about? ". “What is that all about?” - these are two questions from 2 seperate posts. Are you in over your head and can’t follow along is what I am wondering. It all seems pretty clear to me!
i would say it is pretty obvious out there that we are witnessing a lot of anger by the liberal media and democrats in general.dvdjs:![]()

Whatever the merits of that observation, it is off point.i would say it is pretty obvious out there that we are witnessing a lot of anger by the liberal media and democrats in general.
It requires peculiarly selective reading to see only efforts efforts “to demonize Trump the person rather than discuss policy”. That observation cannot withstand serious analysis.I find the opposite, the liberal efforts to demonize Trump the person rather than discuss policy is what is degrading norms of behavior.
First don’t resort to strawmansIt requires peculiarly selective reading to see only efforts efforts “to demonize Trump the person rather than discuss policy”. That observation cannot withstand serious analysis.
Please don’t resort to strawmans. What’s truly bizarre is that you ignore the regular ad hominem attack
Might I point you to this other quote of his.As Dvdjs pointed out, you missed the point as most missed the point.
Do no presume to know what another has missed because their perspective or opinion is not yours. The hypocrisy of a few people in power does not excuse abortion, and that joke was based on both sorry reasoning, and a tremendous over-generalization.…rather than engaging in the fascinating habit that some have for mind reading.
You are usually more level headed than this. Calling her a servant of Satan is totally off the range. She was a servant of Satan that night and his agenda for America.
You guys are obsessed with Trump. Did you used to date him? Because you pretend like you hate him, but I think you love him. I think what no one in this room wants to admit is that Trump has helped all of you. He couldn’t sell steaks or vodka or water or college or ties or Eric, but he has helped you.
He’s helped you sell your papers and your books and your TV. You helped create this monster, and now you’re profiting off him. And if you’re going to profit off Trump, you should at least give him some money, because he doesn’t have any.
