Hi, Tony.
Have you considered that when the day of judgment comes that it will be too late to make choices at that point? When one is judged in a court of law he is judged based upon choices already made, not choices he will make in front of the judge. The day of judgment is not the time to make choices. We must make those choices before the day of judgment.
We believe that we are in a spiritual battle. The time to take sides in a battle is not when that battle is over, but rather when it begins. When it is over, one was either an ally or an enemy and will have to accept the consequences.
Peace!
Steve
Steve - All you say could be as true as all I say, there is no concrete answer with the Words of God, all can have many a meaning. IMHO If we use the words to love and know God then they are truth indeed.
It could be that the battle has been fought or it could be that we are still fighting it. It could be the choices we make in this battle is our Judgment Day. No one is alone on this Earth we are all connected, a decision I make has ramifications for mankind, we all have to work together to Heal. That of course is MHO.
I found a prayer this moring which I read and it ties into this thread, lets look at two prayers one from Christianity and One from the Baha’i Faith
The Lord’s Prayer (traditional)
Our Father, which art in heaven,
Hallowed be thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come.
Thy will be done in earth,
As it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
As we forgive them that trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
But deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom,
The power, and the glory,
For ever and ever.
Amen
O Thou kind Lord! Thou hast created all humanity from the same stock. Thou hast decreed that all shall belong to the same household. In Thy Holy Presence they are all Thy servants, and all mankind are sheltered beneath Thy Tabernacle; all have gathered together at Thy Table of Bounty; all are illumined through the light of Thy Providence.
O God! Thou art kind to all, Thou hast provided for all, dost shelter all, conferrest life upon all. Thou hast endowed each and all with talents and faculties, and all are submerged in the Ocean of Thy Mercy.
O Thou kind Lord! Unite all. Let the religions agree and make the nations one, so that they may see each other as one family and the whole earth as one home. May they all live together in perfect harmony.
O God! Raise aloft the banner of the oneness of mankind.
O God! Establish the Most Great Peace.
Cement Thou, O God, the hearts together.
O Thou kind Father, God! Gladden our hearts through the fragrance of Thy love. Brighten our eyes through the Light of Thy Guidance. Delight our ears with the melody of Thy Word, and shelter us all in the Stronghold of Thy Providence.
Thou art the Mighty and Powerful, Thou art the Forgiving and Thou art the One Who overlooketh the shortcomings of all mankind. ‘Abdu’l-Bahá Link -

As Baha’is we see all mankind as a whole, we do not see it as we are right and you are wrong, we just feel there is a bigger picture that we would love every one to have a look at

This bigger picture contains…mmmm…its too big for me to describe
