Well, there will still need to be manufactuers for the government (police/military). In my eyes, and many others, they would be traitors.
 
We have drunk driving laws. There are also laws on the book for “drunk in public.” I think that is enough. I only drink alcohol a few times a year, but there were times in my younger life when I drank more. The US has more people in prison per capita, etc etc. Why add to that misery? The UK legalized many drugs and crime rates fell. Why don’t we do that hear? Money. Government and lawyers make big money on all of this stuff. Why feed that monster further. If your an addict or an alcoholic your going to use no matter what until you get the care, will, and graces to do otherwise.

Comparing gun control to alcohol just doesn’t make sense to me, two very different things. I really don’t have any set opinions on gun control, other than keeping felons and those with serious mental conditions from getting them. Why? Well the barn door has been open so long on that issue, I just don’t see the point. If we could enforce laws already on the books, that would be something.
