so there is no real reason for communion other than to remember Jesus’s sacrifice.Kinda pointless to do it then at a worship service one can do it everday all day.
Christ is not present in the communion bread.Despite His words to the contrary.
Why eat a piece of bread or whatever at worship service then?How does this eating of bread or whatever bring one into communion with Christ?
A question is a question not a point you silly bunny
Didn’t Jesus say where two or three are gathered in His Name, He’d be there?
Can we take Jesus’ word that He’ll be with us? And note no mention of communion.
Matthew 28:
18 And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, "All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.
19 "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
20 “teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo,** I am with you always, even to the end of the age/**B].” Amen.
What is the purpose of communion as far as Paul is concerned?
1 Corinthians 11:
23 ¶ For I received from the Lord that which I also delivered to you: that the Lord Jesus on the same night in which He was betrayed took bread;
24 and when He had given thanks, He broke it and said, “Take, eat; this is My body which is broken for you; do this in remembrance of Me.”
25 In the same manner He also took the cup after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in My blood. This do, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of Me.”
26
For as often as you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death till He comes.
As for being called a silly bunny (which to my knowledge I’ve never been called that before) I guess one could make the argument that I’m a little fuzz ball.
